World peace is an unachievable dream, and, personally, I think this is a good thing. War creates most of the innovations, and makes sure people are not complacent.

We can give it as much of a chance as we want, hell I love the idea of world peace, what a successful world we'd be if we could all get along. Alas, it is irrelevant. Man cannot ride himself of his own sin and agree with everyone. I mean could rational people really ever live side by side with racists or terrorists or cannibals?

Only God can unite man and rid the world of evil, it's man's job to care for the world, not unite it. We just prepare the way.
