  • no more debuffing or stuff. this battle takes about 10-20 seconds if you are really playing FF13 and not just commenting to troll.

  • Your setup is all wrong my friend. With the right setup you can stagger and launch the behemoth before it transforms. Shouldnt take you no more than 16 seconds for this fight.

  • looks like someone isnt very good at this game... this battle is supposed to take about 7 seconds...

  • I have a better spot for lower level characters. Easy to do with only Relentless Assault. It's in the next area near the entrance. There's a dead end side track with easy battles and lots of CP.

Watchout for the juggernaut in the dead end, turn back before he appears!

You can easily do pre-emptive strike.

Each battle will get you 2000 to 5500 points and they take less than 20 secs each (if you can do pre-emptive, which is easy)

Each back and forth run will get you over 10 000 points.

  • if u just started chapter 11 a great place is in the next area with those robots if u take the path that leads to a scene with a juggernaught u can kill the 5 robots for 3800 then skip the scene and retry battle with juggernaught and kill the 5 things again and its fairly easy to initiate with premptive. Again this is good if ur not strong yet not so sure about later tho

  • youre all so gay xDD im the boss in all ff's haha xDD

  • I think this is the best way...

    Com/Syn/Sab

Just wait till you get all buff'd and the enemies get all debuff'd then you

    Com/Rav/Rav

and you just kick the shit out of those assholes, and it takes less than 20 seconds

  • If you delay Lightning's attack by a few seconds, you can Stagger it before it transforms and you can just Launch it.

  • Lol didnt catch the behemoth before he shifted the first time. Good strategy for people hurting CP in ch 11.

  • lol, collecting CP.

  • This game is far from being good at all. it has a rip off from Final Fantasy 10 sphere grid, you can only control one character and if that character dies then it is game over. That is seriously weak. The final fantasy franchise is running out of good ideas. Let it die before it becomes unbearable. Just those things alone make the game terrible. I took it to a pawn shop the day I got it. I have never bought a game that has made me cringe as this one has.

  • @jonrmahnke well that's u. to me this the best game i have. i have like 30 games

  • @jonrmahnke

Yeeep ypup. That sure does make it suck.

  • @jonrmahnke no you are wrong. final fantasy 13 is a great game. it dosent matter what you say or how much you hate it, your opinion will change the fact that this game very good.

  • @jonrmahnke So the Crystarium is a rip-off of the Sphere Grid, huh? I guess the standard leveling system they used from 2-9 were all a rip-off of 1, hm? =\

  • @Kwonnie34

But 2's leveling system wasn't at all like the rest of the games...

  • Or you can just fight the cactuars. Let them grow to Primes, and then finish them off with Fire attacks. 30k per fight with the growth egg.

  • k at this point shud i complete chapter 11 or just lvl for now?

  • @lando9386 i think you should stay and level up for a bit, complete the main crystarium sections of everone instead of gaining loads of CP and using it all on stuff like medic for Snow, etc. once you reach chapter 13, come back because your crystarium will have expanded as much as it can, or level up with lots of CP and do loads of missions and get some pretty awesome weapons and items.

  • if ur a low lv i recomend killing the behemouth king first, using com, rav, rav i use com com rav

  • Best way to do this at a lower lvl is

    Fang - sab

    sazh - syn

    vanille - sab

debuff the mobs to keep their stagger gauge up (the weaker one may stagger) while sazh buffs up fang.

once the king has three debuffs on him (not sure what ones they are but it makes him really vulnerable) attack with relentless assault then just head around the corner, not back up the hill towards the save point, and they will respawn

    repeat.

  • :/ I don't have these awesome stats or items. I have attack at about 600-700 ish, and still manage to kill them using a Rav/Syn/Rav seeing as the Syn grants Haste and the ravs put it into struggle then immediately switch over to Com/Rav/Com to kill it (Behemoth king) then keep it on for the second. It's not that hard actually. takes about a minute or two if that

  • Man I didn't know about a growth egg, T__T Im stuck on fighting those musshu thing in taejins tower fifth floor, any advice?

  • @Baka461 lots of upgrades and a few res items. lol

  • Easiest way beat the game get the weapons to second tier for the three character you use. Wait till after you unlock Stage 10 max out at least 2 of the roles and use the strongest character. Com. for all of them should take around 10 sec takes me around 7 sec to kill those 2 walk to the chocobo and back they will re-spawn and repeat.

  • In Taejins Tower on the 5th floor is a Statue to fight a class B monster called Mushussu, Mission 24 - A Potent Sting. I kill it in 20 seconds and 6 seconds with a back attack, 3 commando's and STR boosting Equipment because its attacks are weak. Every battle gets you 6k CP (Without growth Egg...) and a Moonbless seed to sell 99x = 594000. The monster spawns instantly 3 seconds away everytime you accept the mission, which means no more saving and reloading. Enjoy.

  • On what level are your party's paradigms?

  • I also can do this fight in 7 seconds :)

  • @AbysmalDemon erm ANYONE with the correct paradigm + level can do it.

  • Do the ceth stone mission that allows you to ride a chocobo, do the fight as quick as you can. Then go up the hill to the save and get on the chocobo there, skip the cutscene for getting on it, ride it back down to the fight and get off it, skipping the cutscene, and fight again. This is a really quick method and doesnt require exiting the game or fighting something wasting even more time. Also if u upgrade your characters you can do the fight in just 5 bars of you ATB gauge.

  • this is good with growth egg and after game 13200 cp each fight and if your strong enough each fight should only take around 9 seconds

  • y dont u use ravager at start to get them to stagger quicker nd den the behemoth wont morph

  • @lilnako yea you do but other people find other means

  • You need Lionheart maxed for Lightning to get an auto-stagger and save a lot of time

  • The way you grind cp is way to long. What you should do is have Com/Rav/Rav and Com/Sab/Sab(or Com/Syn/Syn if you want buffs instead of debuffing the enemy but i prefer Com/Sab/Sab). Once they both have their stagger bar high enough to be staggered ,quickly stagger the behemoth king and make a commando keep on launching him so that he wont have the time to regenerate hp, while the other two will either debuff the enemy if its Com/Sab/Sab or buff your team if its Com/Rav/Rav.

  • I actually do this in 8-9 seconds. Pre-finishing the game (Level 5 Crystarium is NOT unlocked). COM RAV RAV. With Fang( w/ Heroe's Talisman(Auto-Bravery)), Hope(Aurora Scarf), and Vanille. Fang opens with Blitzx2, and since Hope hits first, he staggers just before Fang double 99,999s. Then you just wipe out the megisthorian...

It is quick, but i'm still trying to find another spot.

  • to do this the fast - have Light (leader), Snow (second), and Fang (third). Fang's strength 1800+, light and snow 1200 + - equip hermes sandals (auto-haste) and paradigm shift Cerberus (COM/COM/COM) - have light attack behemoth king (so will snow and fang will kill megisthorian) - takes 12 seconds a battle (could be faster - as u get stronger) - I bang out ten of these battles in 4 minutes - and with Growth Egg = 132000 CP - 40 minutes = 1,320,000!!!!

  • i perfer Catar Primes 15k each for cp

  • my gran pulse went all foggy after doing mission 1- 14 and mission 55... =( nd its kinda bugging me any idea how to clear this? and i know sum part r foggy but this time..d WHOLE GRAN PULSE IS ... darn it..its putting me off ffxiii..gran pulse is my fav map nd now it looks CRAP

  • It's only because you are in a certain area of the map. For me when i began the chapter i went to the right after the save point, pass the Behemoth king, and into a large area surrounded by FLANS+plus the big version. All i had to do was walk the other way towards the open and it became clear again.

  • @Ichigohollowized1989 no dude...i kno that certain parts r foggy...but now d whole place is...d fog is kinda blue.. it appeard after i fnished mission 55..growth egg =( i fnished d game and i want to grind..but...d fog makes me real sleepy nd play mw2 instead

  • @Hallucination01

This is because you accepted the next mission. Remember the huge dude started screamin' once you accepted 56(I believe it was this one, they were all in a circle after 55..) Once I picked up another mission to cancel it, it was fine.

  • @viperv26 dude i dont think i did anything to d circle place (56-62 if i remember correctly) yet....but i'll do sum other mission nd see..coz mine got foggy (blue fog) after doing 55..(growth egg)

  • If you had Com/Rav/Rav as your Paradigm you could kill the Behemoth before it stands up.

  • whats the best weapon for Lightining

  • @gamefreaks009 the organyx has the best stats according to the gudie. but has slow attacks. so not a good alrounder. next would be the hauteclaire. but has stagger lock. other wise go for gladius for commando or edged carbine for magic.

  • @BKUltima thanks i have the guide but im not sure what to use for Lightning i have the Blazefire Saber (the first weapon that Lightning has) at maximum

  • Lionheart is the best overall, since it has the Quick Stagger ability and can create the Random: Instant Chain ability if you equip a Speed Sash or Champion's Badge. It also has decent stats. I, myself, prefer the Axis Blade, since it becomes a beast in combination with an Aurora Scarf and Sprint Shoes.

    Sorry for tl;dr.

  • @OyVeey at what chapter will u be able to obtain lionheart? will it be on those circle treasure thingy or can u buy it in the shop? cause right now im using Gladius and its lvl 20 now ima make to ultima weapon.

  • @MyPapErHeArT22 Ch.13, at the very begining of the chapter basically. Look around and you'll find the treasure ball that holds the weapon.

  • @MyPapErHeArT22 Chapter 12, at the Grand Prix circuit at the very start. It's a maze, so explore it fully. You'll find the Lionheart in roughly the center. I upgraded it really quickly since I had lots of money from sidequests. Beat Hunt Mission 7 and you'll get access to a place that sells the catalyst to transform it into an Ultima Weapon.

  • What does the Axis Blade really do? I'm in Chapter 11 in this game but im like a super noob when it comes to weapons... All i am doing is lvling up Gladius its like lvl20 right now... BTW I'm at the very start of CHP 11

  • were do you get the growth egg at?

  • Mission 55

  • @SoullessTech yeah best of luck getting it tho

  • The first battle this guy does is the best, I'm lazy and don't feel like going into details but I can beat the first battle in 14-18 seconds, and thats 6600 cp or 13200 with the growth egg, then run to the top of the hill just past the save/shop/upgrade point, and turn around and they'll be back, in 1 minute I can do this fight about twice (26400 cp) and in 1 hour thats over 1.5 million

  • @bumpyshell how and where do you get the growth egg ???

  • @p0k3m0nfr3ak do cei'th mission 55, pain in the butt but just had snow on sentinel-hope healing-and you as vanille using death over and over. its the gay way of doing it but the normal way would be way harder...

  • I agree victor, not to mention all the bomb shells and cores you get for upgrades and money drops and stuff. I did get the growth egg and can kill this videos spawn in 7 secs now. You can get 1,030,000 mil cp in an hour, but drops are crap, and all though you would fall a bit short cp wize in the faultwarrens, it is much more productive use of time imo.

  • I think that teijin's tower is the best place for CP If you can't kill the turtles(not gil though) . On the 5th floor there is a group of 5 robot guys (ones that can spin around on their legs) I can usually kill them in 30-40 seconds (11 seconds if you get a pre-emptive) and with the egg they give you 16k CP. Then you just run upstairs and fight a lone guy for another 4,700 CP. After you kill him you can run back down the stairs and fight the group of 5 again. You get about 620k/CP a hour.

  • sorry but I have to say this isin't a very productive cp spot. the best place is in the faultwarrens, get through the missions till Mission42 (The Hero Never Dies) there's 2 groups of flowering cactaurs which are worth 7500cp each, use a summon on the big group and you can be walking away over 50,000cp from killing everthing in that mission

  • i can beat a cactuar prime in around a min and a half for 30k cp with g egg just fight a norm cactuar and while hes growing have sazh syn then switch to offense and keep a sentinel, no gil but u can get a cactuar doll now and again

  • even i am amazed i actually reached chapter 11 with my best guy with like. 300 str ? is that normal for a firstimer like me or ? and non of my characters have over 2.5k hp xD is this just very wrong ? :P in that case can any1 please say how i improve them ? :P cuz i havent got a single gil from all of my fights so far :o

  • @Guitarlol16

your levels are normal.. just go train at the spot in this vid

  • @Guitarlol16 you dont get gill from fights in this game. only by selling the items u get from spoils and finding some in spheres. u should lvl a few hours in archlyte steppe somewhere. last bosses can cast an ugly move that took a 9k sentinal to about 2k hp and killed hope

  • You mean merciless judgment? Cause he spammed that twice in a row on me, luckily that move only reduces you to 1 hp, it never kills you.

  • @artem101 if it was ur sentinal with the auto ability that u get reduced to one hp over a certain hp threshold?

  • @BKUltima no i mean the move in general, merciless judgement, it never kills you outright. It does MASS damage but it never kills you, puts you to 1 hp instead.

  • @artem101 hmmmmm, when It did it once and came out of the white my characters were KOed but usually it does put u on 1hp

  • yeahhh...I just got the Eidolon Alexander and followed the arrow pointing to where I needed to go, and now I get inside this cave place with these robots and what not...and there's this fight with 2 Hoplights and 1 fat thing that makes the hoplights upgrade, and can call in more hoplights when you kill the first 1 or 2, I haven't farmed any cp because Idk where to farm it at because I have like...1k-2.2k hp on my characters, and under 1000 Attack power or magic, advice please? On Chpt. #11.

  • it's a little harder for me 'cause when i stagger him fang automatically starts attacking the white one anyone know how to get her to attack the same one?

  • put her commando and lightning ravage.. just after the thing is stagged, fang will automatically launch in the sky.

  • @rugald009 attack the one u want fang to attack first by interrupting the ATB gauge. if both ur leader and fang are commandos then fang will automatically choose a different targat until it dies. then choose yours

  • Yeh, I can kill that spawn in 11 secs. You only have to run around the corner like your going to the mines to the end of the dirt patch and back. So, with loading times, running back and forth, it actually takes about 45 seconds for 6600cp or 13200 with grow egg? Don't know cause I don't have that item yet.

  • all the grinding spots are at the same spot

  • Ok we need to get this changed. This CP isn't even worth the effort. Every fight takes much to long. The real CP farm is that lone Behemoth King just before you get to this spot. You Preemtive it and stagger as fast as possible (ravagers), then you lift it off the ground and juggle it with Commando, Ravager, Ravager. You kill it in less than 20 seconds as long as you never let it touch the ground. After death run to the yellow circle on the close ledge and jump off, respawn, repeat. 4kCP

  • @ZennExile No this guy is just doing it wrong, Its taking to long because his letting the behemoth king regenerate hp and transform into something with high def.

  • @ZennExile i think if you just use Relentless Assault and fight the double battle, then keep respawning it WAY faster. Especially if you equip your characters with the Sprint shoes and Aura scarf along with accessories to increase attack and magic, you culf win the fight in less than ten seconds [ive beaten it in 7 secs before]. plus the Growth Egg you get MAD amounts of CP.

  • @ZennExile Is the lone behemoth that much better? I just fight the 2 using ravagers until stun, switch to commando ravager ravager until dead and repeat with the other one. 6k CP per battles, then instead of running towards the single behemoth I would go through the tunnel thing until i couldnt see the red x on the mini map and they would respawn again.

  • Lightning (COM), Sazh (SYN), Venille (SAB)... 100k dmg on the Blindside attack of the staggered Behemoth King (with bravery, enfire on Light and deshell, deprotect on the Behemoth King)

  • I have never got GIL after a fight!!??

  • i find the normal monsters in this game harder to kill than the bosses

  • Did you customize your weapons? That helps a lot for me.

Also instead of following this vid, since he/she is already high level, you should do this, it worked for, after a couple hours i maxed out, but this is how I did it.

    Lightning/Hope/Sazh

Step 1: COM/SYN/SYN (get haste and wait to get the fire element on your weapon, brave wouldn't hurt too). Attack Behemoth King

Step 2: COM/RAV/RAV on behemoth king.

soon after that, you will be doing more than 10k dmg w/o stagger :D

  • Its not the best place, but it works at least if you can't really kill the turtles. You get 6000cp and 6000gil per fight, and the fight takes like less than a min. Do mission 24 over and over and over again, I maxed out my weapons and maxed out characters through this :D.

Lets say the mission takes 1 min.

    Stats:

    60 items x 6000gil = 360000

    60 attemtps x 6000cp = 360000

Thats in 1 hour. Its not the best, but for now it works. I just had friends come over and do it for me, so yeah :D

  • @lionhart3001 some of em

  • Comment removed

  • @lionhart3001 especially those bastards with the force feild and multicast in chapter 11. I have nearly broken down fighting those a few times. I could feel minutes of my life being drained from me while fighting them (lol)

  • i need a good gil farming place on chapter 11

  • Try doing mission 24 over and over again,

takes about 1 min, and the mission spot is right next to the spawn, so yeah.

    6000gil and 6000cp

1 hour = 360gil and cp. Not that bad, but there are better places, but you haven't gone there yet.

  • You can go to Mission 7 and kill the Undying C'eth over and over for crowns and tiaras

  • what i do is i stick to the first battle in the vid only and i use Light,Snow,Sazh(Sazzu) and i have Com Rav Rav at beginning i wait untill the two Ravs get the Beh to stagger(break) then i launch him then right away i switch to com com com and kill the Beh then i switch to Rav Rav Rav to get the next monster to stagger the com com com to finish it off i get them killed in around 50 - 55 seconds every time

  • check out my vid its a new cp guide not on youtube

  • Okay I'm at chapter 10 and my stats isn't even this good, what the hell am I doing wrong

  • Fight the small wolves first and then work your way up.

  • @Shoes742

this vid is from chapter 13. gran pulse has some massive beasts not meant to be easy at chapter 10. i worried the same.

  • yeah im there now and I'm getting it done, where is that first misson thing though? I cant find the lake

  • i found some were

that the creatures r week and take 13sec fight and respawn i beat them in 9sec i get 2800cp i can make good 20.000CP easily so 4 fight = 11000CP

i dont got a recorder to upload the vids but if u comment on my FFXIII vid then ill add u on xbl to do the leveling spot in chapter 11 i did it for 3 hrs got about 700000 CP

    i do 10k ATK

  • easier way is to repeat mission 24 when u kill the mon ther u get 6000cp and items then reset repeat im gona do that

  • hey in this vid u were doing 40k dps were u on CHPTR 13 and for CHPTR 11 can i do this 1 more thing wher is the grow egg

  • IS THE ITEMS ANY GOOD TO SELL

  • i got one question, when do you get to this place?

  • Beggining of chapter eleven i believe, you have to go through that grinding spot so you can't miss it

  • i doubt this could be done at ch11 cause you get killed easily in this area.

  • i did it in chapter 11.

  • @AubreyC1 i farm these (the 2 first enemies fighting eachother) at ch 11, it's no biggie as long as the king behemoth doesnt change form (keep him airborne-stagger) and you're all set :]

  • im in chapter 11 and doin this with ease

  • I like how fast the enemies respawn. It will be a problem at low levels though.

  • you can turn on and off the enemies re-spawn

  • It the ball enemies, the one that explode. There a part in the tunnel where you fight 6 at the same time. That is where the best place to farm CP.

  • clearly you can break the damage limit in this game as well LOL!

  • (READ!!!!!!!! )to all you bytches who compare ff to disgea GTFO!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS NOT DISGEA SO GO WATCH A DISGEA VIDEO AND STOP BASHING ON FF13!!!!!!!

  • i REALLY hope they fix that WHIFF thing when you launch a behemoth... that's really dumb for you to "miss" a launched monster...

  • How or where do you get a grow egg?

  • Mission 55

  • @Numberonezeldaguy dont forget to spam death to kill the monster!

  • wow i'm surprised they up the hit points in this. crazy.

So, your saying there is absolutely no aircraft to get you to certain points? Have you got any ultimate weapons yet? How would you rate the storyline, does it even compare as good as the rest?

  • CP is not the problem in this game seriously.. its the gil lol

  • I found a way better place for CP farming. Get you around 500, 000 per hour or 999,999 if you have grow egg.

Each battle will last around 10 second, and give you 7100 CP or 14200 CP if you have grow egg.

Its in the tunnel area. After this area.

  • what enemies?

  • Is there a way to like pause while you check your attack and magic and stuff or does the monsters keep beating you while you choose things?

  • NO. They keep beating you. Quick input required.

  • Maaan thats so evil :( is it true you only control 1 character?

  • do you thoose the difficulty level or is it

    already set

  • @MadnessSkate Final Fantasy XIII.

  • @MadnessSkate

You have got to be joking. What rock have you been living under?

  • @lazaruslol

the damage starts quite low in the game, about 30-40, then *obviously* has to scale up as ur near the end.. so dont say silly things

  • @lazaruslol

Lol search Disgaea. FF is tame compared to most JRPG's.

  • @miyamoopen LMAO Yeah. Disgaea ou can hit for millions to billions

  • omg look at that big thing in the backgrond at 4:13 till 4:15

  • How do you rate FF13 overall ? and what do you think about battle system as menu based style is it good ? I feel it is like Chrono trigger battle system mixed with Xenogears multiple command input

  • 8.6/10. I don't expect the same unanimous praise as in Demon's Souls or V.chronicles. No replayablity at all. You can go anywhere freely in the 2nd playthrough, but there is no warp (very few exeptions). Meanwhile, the battle system is well designed.

  • 300k hours?!!

    WOW

    What does warp mean?

  • there's no easy transport. You have to explore on foot.

  • Oh I see, well cant you use Chocobo to travel?

Oh and and can you flee?

  • I don't know where they are :D There's not enough info because few players are playing the 2nd round.

No flee but your can cancel any encount and resume at the location immediately before.

  • Aaah I see, so this is your second round? So have you beaten the main boss yet?

I saw a Japanese trailer that had Fang (I think) riding a chocobo. :D

  • i found some warp gates. But there's no Oblivion-like instant transport.

  • no secret bosses or secret summons?

  • Yes they are. But you have to explore on foot. No airplane or warp gate.

  • Since you're close to beating it, hwo would you say it compares to previous entries in the series?

  • I guess 13 can't be a legendary RPG such as 7. And this high difficulty is likely to repel non-skilled gamers.

  • But the fact that you heal after each battle is suppose to make it easier isn't it?

  • so the game has open world? one more question, its fast to finish the game? there is no side quests

  • this is the only place which is open-world like. 50 hours for skilled gamers. There's some side quests in this plain.

  • hmm..really thats kinda disapointing...so theres no secrets, its pretty much straight forward?

  • There are 64 side quests to complete, and once you finish the game you get a save file that takes you back to the last save point before the final boss, but you keep your experience. You actually have to kill the final boss to get the last level of upgrades. Many of the side-mission quests are harder than the final boss.
