Well, boosting actually made sense in Modern Warfare 2, because you needed to get the headshots in order to obtain the different camouflages for your guns. In Modern Warfare 3, however, it is absolutely pointless, because it's ridiculously easy to level up your guns and get those really awesome looking camouflages. Anyone boosting in MW3 has to be utterly moronic if you can't just play the game like a normal person and get everything legitimately.
