@DaveTheFuckingBrave It is but this is still awesome. I personally think that "what's done is done" is the most powerfull piece from the album, but that's just my oppinion...
aint a case of evolution, kids. it is a case of new ideas they never sold out cos they aint commercial. Evolution does not necessarely mean selling out they just had new ideas. That is it. They r still a great band and dont match the stream of piss coming from commercial bands. think.
Millencolin really sold out with this last album. And I don't give a fuck about their talk about "moving on with the music", this album was not anywhere near the old Millencolin style, wheres the speed, wheres the punk?
No, if they're gonna make this kind of music they can't expect me to listen to it.
Fine you shallow asshole, don't listen to it. You can't expect them to make the same music over and over again. I LOVE punk music, but most punk bands refuse to evolve and they get more boring as they get older (I love Bad Religion and Pennywise but that is who I'm referring to). It took me a while to get warm to Machine 15, but when I did, I realized its probably their best.
PS The band just stated that this was going to be the 2nd single. I was surprised, I thought it should have been Route 1
Spare me the insults, kid. No, I don't expect them to stay on the same track all the time, they actually evolved when they made Kingwood, from their softer skate-punk to a harder rock-style.
Yes, most punkbands get boring over time, ´Millencolin is a great example. From Kingwood, to... this?! If i want this kind of music I listen to MTV or ZTV.
I dunno Viggetorr. This just sounds more produced. Sounds like the same millencolin from the last 2 cds.. home from home.. and kingwood.. just more produced. I don't think you can say they sold out either because there are only 3400 views. I'd say 75% of my friends have never heard of this band. I miss the old stuff. The stuff they had that reminded me of Op Ivy.
Definetly more produced, wich made them loose their "punksound". But I actually think it's nothin like Kingwood, that's was poboably their hardest CD. ABout the views, that has nothing to do with selling out, I know I'm not the only one who didn't like their new CD, at all, just because they've started sounding like som fucking popgroup.
Yeah, Operation Ivy was great, and back in the days when Millencolin sounded more like that they were really good. But now? Nah.
great music!

I think Pennybridge Pioneers is their best.
in my opinion at least... though Broken World is a really nice song.
too bad it's the only song I like on Machine 15.
