I can't understand why people hate a bike just because its not a HD. I've owned HD's all my adult life and have a 07 Road King that I love. I bought a 09 Vic Hammer and adore it. The Vic makes way more power then the HD and its made right here in Iowa, USA. Thats whats important, that its made in the USA. I shake my head when Harley owners bad mouth the Vics. I love em both! I for one support any manufacturer who will build a quality bike right here in the USA. I wish there were more!
That bike sounds a bit too clean to me. I like harley's bop-bop type of sound. But not bad when riding. What I really don't like, is the USD front suspension. Makes it look too sporty. I thought these type of motorcycles weren't meant to be sport bikes.
that rear fender doesn't look right. looks like they got confused and made a sport bike on the back and a cruiser on the front. sorry, ugly ass bike......
when im 60 may consider, im 46 and my ktm 990smr blows me away, im ex dirt bike and i need an agressive bike but i do get the chunky torque, bitch on the back deal. has to be the hammer s!
I love my Yamaha Raider S, but I wouldn't mind the Victory Hammer S. No Harley's for me, I don't give a crap about the heritage or resell value, if you like em, that's great, because the whole idea is riding on the open road with the wind on two wheels.

Well, Victory is more American made than Harley. They come with way more power than Harley. They have way fewer maintenance issues than Harley. They actually stop when you hit the brakes. All around a better put together bike and I think the styling is outstanding rather than outdated. I have a 2007 Hammer S, and I couldn't be more pleased.
@PigFqr if you have every ridden a harley then try a victory, once you have tried the victory the harley is just shit compared to it. i rode a victory today and a harley yesterday, there is a massive difference with the amount of power behind it

Victorys are 100 times better than Harley. Harley is still stuck in the '70's. "This year's paint job on yesterday's bike." Plus, Victory has more American made parts on its motorcycles. Harley is very little style and no substance.
I agree with JefferyT Harleys are running out of creativity, not only that, now they are made in China and assemble in the US, Harley <<Made in China, Victory is the real American bike
