Great guitar you have there.I have an old Jem 77 FP.I keep it,cuz I have had it so many years(from 80),but I probably buy me a Saber of some sort. With their ultra thin mahogany body, they still have a great full tone, and if you wanna play legato, you can noodle with your lefthand for hours, because it is so easy to play on.:)
Actually, the camera's internal microphone caught the amp's sound and I forgot to remove it in the mixdown. ^_^ So what you hear is actually a blend of two sounds and one is the BlackBox.
Dude, you're improving stuff, or you mean improving like throwing songs. Could you tell me what you were playing at first, it sounded van halenish... You rock!
but after that how to mix them? just match the sound and the video? and how to do so? cuz when you start to record there's 2 record button that you need to press. thanks
You can use the Movie Maker for putting together the USB-recorded guitar track and the video. Of course the timing accuracy is very rough since there's no synchronicity between the two recordings, but it's OK for a "quick and dirty" video dub.
uhh i want to make this kind of video too. can you tell me how to make them? what gadget did you use to record it? also what software? how to mix them? thanx
Basically, all you need is a digital camera that can record video and the WinXP built-in tool called Movie Maker to edit the footage. For an improved sound, you can use a USB sound recording device like I did (M-Audio Black Box).
hey ich hätt ne frage... kannst du vielleicht nen tab über die ersten paar akkorde und noten machen (bis 0:30). Der erste Riff ist so richtig gut,und würd mich irrsinig freuen auch so improvisieren zu können :-P
Thanks for your nice words. The upwards part of the phrase at 1:30 is a major scale with a Paul Gilbert-like 3 notes per string picking pattern (1234 5345 ...) and the downwards part has some blue notes in it.

too bad. i hate to hear the acoustic sound mixed the distorted sound, makes everything sound so amateur

Yeah well, you live and learn. Next time I'll improve that.

Thanks!! It's pure improvisation, by the way. I just grabbed the guitar and played the licks that came to my mind.

awesome guitar, what amp do you use?
glubibobi 2 years ago
It's an M-Audio Black Box USB audio interface and I selected the amp model #21 which is modeled after a Bogner Ecstasy amp.
