  • tried to do this I GOT IT but at the cost of vase that i didnt see on top of the table...grounded but meh IT WAS WORTH IT XD

  • The reason we condemn the techniques such like this one is because they are pointless. Sure there is the possibility that it may land at some point but most "Real" Martial Artist will aim for practicality not look to perform the prettiest looking moves. It may be offensive to some whom choose to perform this technique but its the truth. Also just for the record yeah I am a "MMA" guy but that to me is me saying that Ive studied Judo, Jiu-jitsu, Kick boxing, American Boxing all "Individually".

  • i love hook kicks! i'm my taekwondo class i always get my friend wit ha reverse hook kick XD he says im too fast and never sees it coming lol.

  • completly useless in a fight just side step straight into the dragon sleeper

  • ID LIKE SOME POUND CAKE

  • damn looks hard but he makes it looks so easy lmfao

  • Awesome!! Thanks for sharing:)

    Grandma mary

  • huuuuuuh?

  • now ive seen everything

  • look likes jack knife :D

  • the video starts at 1:11

  • kanagattyrarlyktai

  • It's only 180 more of a spin than a tornado kick, so I guess it's not so farfetched if one applies himself to reaching the goal. What I do wonder about is whether that first 180 step on the ground is really crucial for acquiring the necessary spin, cause fight-wise it's an empty move that gives away intention. I can do a tornado without that extra step and consider it bad practice to do otherwise. So I wonder if it's really needed here as well.

  • thanxx for the tutorial

  • u make it look so easy tht was amazing!

im a second degree blackbelt mastered all the kicks execpt that one

    tips for left legged person

  • This kick is a beautiful kick. I see many comments here. How can use this in a fight? And whatewer. Taekwondo is 80% foot work. Why is this good? Because its wonderful. And when you can kick like that. Than you hawe ballance. You can better do spinning kicks. And all of your kick are better. And ist not yust to use it in a fight. Martial Arts are lifestyle. And they dont teach you to beat up all people. Respect, Harmony, Peace, gladness. Thats Martial Arts! So relax! And stop hating Taekwondo!

  • @demodome In real fight you can do this kick only before the opponent come to close, so you can use it to do a "one hit ko fight" (with the speed and the power the kick has, if you touch the head of the opponent, he is ko).

  • @LeGrosWinnie

Yes i know that. But to do this, you must kick like a kicking maschine. And train years. I dont fight on the sreet. I just fight on championships. And i dont use diferent kicks. I use speed and dinamic, power comes to. Many fighters use this kick yust on demonstrations. Im not so good to use it in a fight. Thats dangerious. My enemy can step out and kick me whit a roundhouse.

  • @demodome, this is true. I have done this kick successfully and paid the price in the finish up when the opponent delivered a roundhouse to my supporting leg causing me to flip 360 degrees to the ground. It was not pleasant to land on your side either. So, forewarning.

  • @xBUTUSTAxSauce Okay Mr Knowitall, first of all you must be the most retarded youtube commentator ever. Second.. Martial Arts is not about beating up people in the street, its an art. Its a practice for body control and health. If you are into tkd and learn it to seek out fights in your neighborhood i hope you get your kneecaps cut off.

  • Ok seriously you douche bags who keep bad mouthing this guy, i have been in martial arts for 8 years no i havnt seem anyone land this kick in tournament or ufc but anyone who can do this kick has amazing strength in legs and amazing kicks, amd kicks dose work in ufc.

  • theres always people hating on TKD sayin its not effective in a real fight...yes I admit that is true but when you take the things you learned in TKD and mesh it into your own style then it gets very effective. I've trained before and let me tell ya something, you will have legs of steel and fantastic footwork and cardio when you train long enough. TKD is a very good backround to have if you are a fighter

  • Taekwondo is not a sports for only kill or takedown someone. so stfu and watch mma

  • I wish I was black belt!!!

  • good!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice

  • Straight up people.. Ufc, wec, etc... All got skills frum tae kwon, karate, and etc... So yeah im a martial artist too.. Nice video kick n video man.. Im a blue belt in tae kwon do and i try to learn this kick..

  • try this in the octagon and you'll miss then get knocked out. This isn't something you're ever going to land. Don't practice it.

  • People saying this is unpractical:

    1. It's not meant to be practical.

    2. It's a great skill and it shows that the martial artist is well trained.

    3. If you can aim at someone with this kick, who is to say that you can't aim at someone with a basic hook kick?

    4. How will you ever improve your other "practical" kicks without advancing in them.

  • i love how there are so many "experts" here that have the audacity to say what is effective and what is not. why do ppl pick on tkd. you know why? cuz they're often jealous or too uncoordinated to pull of any impressive moves.

  • Too hard to learn it. Unbeliveable skill

  • This is one of the two videos that made me fall in love with Taekwondo

  • I lost all faith in traditional martial arts after emergence of MMA

  • lul

  • Nice height on this kick!

  • he makes it look so easy.. lol

  • please, What's the name of this kick for real, in korean? (not the english one...)

  • thanks:)

  • Thats not a 720 its a Jack knife

  • 720 kick

  • @Delivery468213 no 540. how the hell is this a 720?

  • 720

  • @danielTrikz no how r u crazy!? its a 540!?

  • @punkassbitch49 in Trickz called 720.

Best legs acrobatic, if not believe me see this tutorial and watch videos of Jeremy Marinas to see which is good.

    ignorant

  • @danielTrikz omg.! seriously u trikers piss me off! this is a tkd video so call it by the god dam tkd name!. would u go to korea and say i want this sushi? no u say i want this kimbap. like thats desrespectfull. would u say he is indiean cuse he has a terbien? seriously u calling this kick thats done by the tkd world by the triking world is no different! and i seen that other guy. this guy is better. tk 4ever triking is wierd. tkd can do what ever u do. u guys can do what we can do

  • @punkassbitch49 the Trickz is more complex, tricking the combined, which is Tkd only do kicks alone, breaking pieces of cardboard.

the guy is not up to jeremy, deveria see Mr Vellu abcd or any taekwondo and you'll find it Coyer

  • @danielTrikz what! what! what! u surly dont no tkd if u think what u siad is tkd. omg can belive u said that. search up k tigers and then tell me this agen ok

  • @punkassbitch49 K tiger do even half of what they do loopkicks, there is a team in korea KXMA are called, but they are clearly Trick

  • @danielTrikz idc. dont be calling sumthing is not at a area. this is a tkd kick not trick. so call it by the tkd name. if u wanna call it by the trick name. go to the tricks videos. tricking is so stupid. oh look at this kool trick!(flip) is was a trick i fooled u!

  • @punkassbitch49 Trickz however is much more impressive and more complex.

Explain then why guys who have been taekwondo, have left the Trickz? that is new and most impressive today, admit it, in exhibitions, traditional martial arts became obsolete.

  • @danielTrikz thats not true. and us tkd will beat u guys in anything. all u guys to is jump twerl around like ballet girls. and i dont no any tkd person that quit and when to tricking thats the stupidest thing i herd. tkd is way better

  • @punkassbitch49 know very well that what I say is true, when TKD make a turn, we make it a double when they do a combination, we overcome it 2 times, you do nothing that Tricker can not do, however we can do everything do you, that tubimos base.

Before Trickz were not so good for those who did were the best exhibitions of Wushu.

Even in combat are effective, even in battle were left behind, is something to see the MMA.

  • @danielTrikz ok post a video of u breaking a glass bottal with ur hands. or u breaking a 2 inch wood with ur finger tips. or do 30 kicks under 20 seconds. yea thats what i thout

  • @danielTrikz in any case we broke roamed the context, the discussion was the name of the kick, and both are correct, because in taekwondo not have the money to be madein the soil and Trickz if available, but the end is the kick it, both names are well within the context of their discipline, the difference is 180 degrees, so as to you call 360, we call 540.

  • and another thing, who impress breaking tablets?

  • @danielTrikz dude the wood is not easy. kids 1 r easy try adult. i broke 3 adult with my finger tips. and lots of pple do

  • @punkassbitch49 should see a taekwondo do, that to date have been done if these breaks are those who train kyokushyn, shaolin monks to train by the way the fine art of kung fu, but I have never seen things break Taekwondo hard, always see nothing but broken tablets

  • @danielTrikz uve clearly never seen tkd then. dude get out of ower terratory! then!!

  • @danielTrikz how bout marbles? AND 20 of em in one shot each bout 1 inch thick?

  • @danielTrikz if u dont like tkd back of ower videos we will own u anyday. so leave go back 2 ur trick passy

  • @punkassbitch49 Name me one thing but do the Taekwondo can not do a trick

  • Damn. The kick could possibly kill some flies

  • reminds me of Undisputed 3

  • tatsumaki senpu kyaku!!

  • Now....where's that 7foot tall dude who's face i want to kick?

  • @PatrickTheMOCR quick and simple techniqes are the best

  • my best feet is the right one.... but when i watched this, my left has improved.... it can kick asses better than usual.... tnnx for d vid!

  • this is masterPark! he has his own youtube channel!

  • @PatrickTheMOCR Can u see any sense in kicking mega ultra 1080 kick on the street? It have less power than normal roundhouse kick. Every jump kicks(but mai geri/front kick) are useless on the street, mma etc. It's beautiful it's right, but only few techniqes are usefull ;) Have you ever seen olimpic tkw? It's just funny ;0

  • Comment removed

  • @BurbonPL To be fair, Jumping Side and Back Kicks are effective, if used correctly on the street. Jumping Round Kick? Maybe, if an opportunity shows up. Unfortunately, most places dont teach when to properly use these techniques. Of course, these flying spinning kicks are mainly a Balance Exercise. Of course, any technique can be used on the street SITUATIONALLY. One thing though - WTF Sparring =/= KKW, ITF, or GTF Tae Kwon Do/Taekwondo/Taekwon-Do. Unfortunately, the sport form is most common.

  • I think tea kwon do is the most useless matrial art ever

  • @BurbonPL Give me a good argument on why.

  • @BurbonPL Alot of UFC fighters come from Taekwondo backgroud, like Anderson Silva, and even Joe Rogan the commentator.

You can see some of the advantages gained from TKD training like SPEED, FOOTWORK, REACTION TIMING, and some effective kicks like the back kick and the front kick he knocked Vitor Belfort with.

But mainly TKD is strong at mental training as well.

  • @djmixmac Joe Rogan was a TKD blackbelt and trainer and he admits that it is completely unpractacle, especialy for the ufc.

  • hey nice "tutorial"

  • taekwondo rules

  • I don' think it's purely for show. It can be used as fake moves by creating variations in kicks as well as for building momentum and covering distance.

  • if asians can fly i guess blake griffin can space walk?

  • @ssjanime250 fair comment mate, personally i feel the art should still be one of fighting or combat when that element is removed it feels hollow and more like tricks, its like in between parkour and kung fu sounds awsome but in reality it just seems impractical but still i understand safe.

  • i dont understand the purpose of learning this, however impressive its arguably useless in ANY combat situation, i really want to like taekwondo too hhmpfff.

  • @harryjpepper its a marital ART. not everything has to be about fighting. kicks like these are meant to be shown in demonstrations and ppl do them for fun.

  • good demonstration of 540 degrees.. :)

other people says that this kick is tornado 720 degrees which is not true..

  • Taekwondo guy: look.. in the sky.. it's a bird?.. no, it's a plane?... doesn't matter... I can kick it.... oh yeah

  • @oniman123 yeah, surely~~

who said that is a fool & an arrogant taekwondo fighter who will take beat!

  • nice

  • If you more spin your body then you can make more power

For example 180 kick is enough to K.O. other player

270 kick and 540 kick is fearful kick

but if you spin more it also more miss the mark

  • im pretty sure this is a cheat 720 not a 540 hook kick.it looks like it but it isn't

  • @gorakatigeryea u do not learn tkd right? this kick is named 540 degrees kick. a 720 is adding a roundhouse on 540... if u on tricking or cheating side... do not comment on tkd vids

  • @TKdreamYWC calm yourself young man. no need to disrespect tricking

  • @gorakatigeryea i'm not disrespectin trickin... they are kwl but this is tkd vid

  • i think that tae kwon do is the most beautiful martial art.

  • @lui505 I'd have to say watching the kung fu fighters is... sorry.

  • @lui505 tricking*

  • @lui505 Except for that funny fight stance...

  • @lui505 yet also very dangerous/deadly

  • @lui505 true!

  • @lui505 in my opinion wushu is

  • @lui505 Tae kwon do is the most beautiful art...Not so much martial

  • @quiksilver87 taekwondo is a martial arts, not "art" were not dancing, i really hate when people insult other martial arts. its annoying and most who do that are just some dudes addicted to mma , as a martial artist and tkd practitioner i have encounter many different style, i can assure you they have respect for one another, i rarely hear "this martial art is no good" something like that, only here in youtube dickheads try to play pro/expert fighter =.=, its just the fighter not the martial art

  • @BlackGhost574 I appreciate the fact that you've spent alot of time learning taekwondo, but it is completely useless in practical use. I've trained in muay thai for over ten years and I have faught against TKD and they don't even make you break a sweat, basic kicks have no power to them and any kicks that do cause damage are normally spinning kicks which have a big element of luck to them for landing them flush. You have to be extreemly talented to make TKD of any use.

  • @misfitstattoo yes. thing is, the so called unpractical tkd are the ones getting popular, i love my martial arts, its just kinda annoying that it focused on the sports these days =.=. and no, those spinning kicks are mostly accurate as i can see in many fights in real sessions and thats against a tkd fighter where talking about, what more for an normal idiot on the street... and, i dont think youd encounter a muai thai expert walking and looking for a brawl in the streets!

  • @misfitstattoo erm..... i am learning taekwondo. ....so.....yeah, i know muai thai has very strong, fast elbowing n kicks too. You said faught against a TKD, as in sparring? Or for real? We TKD have rules, that we will not use any dangerous or fatal kicks n punch or whatsoever during sparring or a (friendly)challenge.

TKD has many other stuff except from punch n kicks. If it's for real, we immediately go for the throat(stab),temple, eye ,twist & broke their arms etc etc.....

  • @jiji970 I've competed against a TKD black belt once and I was not impressed, give me a break there is no such thing as a fatal kick, or punch, knee or elbow they can do lots of damage but you can only kill someone from a strike if the person getting hit has an eggshell/thin skull. TKD has the worst balance and its all flashy, and completely impractical.

  • @misfitstattoo So then why are you watching a TaeKwonDo video? If that's what you think then you took time out of your life to find people and then insult something that they have spent years of their life on. It doesn't matter what is practical because in 2011, there are guns that move faster then anyone's feet. If you were a real martial artist you would respect what other people do and not spend your time going out your way to insult it.

  • @ds0k0l0wski0 Because I respect the talent involved in TaeKwonDo and alot of the techniques are impressive, but the truth hurts and it is impractical from a fighters point of view. I'm only expressing my opinion. I learn alot of Muay Boran techniques and alot of them are very hard to do and are extreemly impressive but I would never use them in the ring as they are not practical.

  • @misfitstattoo

Actually misfitstattoo there are such things as fatal kicks, punchs, knees, and elbows and believe it or not they are quite easy to do. Now if you are just speaking of the head, yes it is hard for someone to kill with a blow to the head though not impossible. It has happened... second there are various places on the human body where I can hit with little power and kill. The most known being the neck; u can crush the neck as easy as a soda can. So yes fatal blows are possible.

  • @AK111X You watch too many movies, have you actually killed anyone with these fatal moves, no, I thought so you are talking out you're arse and who ever is training you is teaching you nonesense.

  • @misfitstattoo

Thank God I have never had to kill with such a move but fatal moves with the bare hands, knees, kicks, elbows, etc. can be achieved and done period. I have not watched to many movies because I usually don't watch TV. It usually sucks and wastes my time. As an extreme martial artist with 2 different black belts and over 10 years of Martial Art experience I can tell u with utmost honesty If I HAD TO I can kill with my hands. The neck is one of the most vulnerable parts of the body.

  • @AK111X hahahahahaha, what a joke. You have never killed anyone with you're so called fatal moves so you have just proved that you cant.

  • @misfitstattoo

I'm done arguing with u. It's a known fact, look it up, talk to the Marines, or a Krav Maga expert, they will love to have a conversation with u I am sure. Good bye, have a good week.

  • @BlackGhost574 Well said mate. I'm a Nanbudo practicioner I was thinking of trying out TKD and I did yesterday. I can assure you what are you guys doing is awesome :)

  • @lui505 Your right! :D

  • @lui505 Most beautiful mabye, most useless absolutely.

  • What is it good for - absolutely nothing...

  • @PulstreiberTV

we can understand u're ambarassed because you can't do it.. but don't talk about things u 400% have no idea of.

  • @moussleouf Don´t get met wrong. I respect his athletic ability but it´s sad to see that martials arts turn more and more into some sort of flashy freestyle aerobics.

  • @PulstreiberTV

Yeah but " the one who can more, can less " so if you can do a 540 hook kick with 99% of accuracy and very fast, then a basic kick for self defense is like eating and drinking water ;) but i respect your point of view.

  • @moussleouf

Absolutely right. A lot of people seem to miss this. People keep saying to me, ok so you can kick six and a half feet in the air (i'm short btw), so what? That has no use.

I say that if I can kick hard and accurate at that height than my kicks mid or low will be that much stronger, faster and all around better. Some theory applies to forms (Kata's) etc. One thing makes other things better.

  • By the time he got 360 id have him layed out, I watch rap videos, I'm a gangsta!!! Lol ha ha ha

  • i think i can do this perfectly in 1 month..

  • This is useful in case you need to kick 8 foot tall enemies in the face... (or 16 foot enemies in the groin).

  • is that video revolution of kicking?

  • It's very nice but the guy who is going to get that kick to his head must be at least 2meters tall...

  • I used this to kick an annoying mosquito. Worked like a charm.

  • Taekwondo exist to kill enemies. All right so stop arguing with me.

It is my personal opinion, you can just say, we have to agree to disagree !

  • first leg up u wont see the rest of the pretty spins. or maybe you will? i dont see this as practical or even useful in competition correct me if im wrong? the posturing and needed space as well as hitting a target to many things can go wrong. if someone see ur body language and lets hope they do! but i feel a drastic close in on kickers space and deliver close combat blows could quickly take the flare out of this all together.

  • @poolcueman502 ur right that kicks like these really shouldnt be used in sparring competition. but if u wanted to create an xma form, this kick would serve u well.

  • @poolcueman502 its prewtty much a show-case kick...

  • 540 hook kick.. total KO

  • 540 hook kick.. total KO

  • bääm i want to learn it but its to difficult oh man :'(

  • he could knock out a giraffe with that kick damn xD

  • i love that kick!

  • Nice kick^^ Thank you for the slowmotion^^

  • that so hard.

  • @triroy3 yeah......lets keep that comment 2 urself

  • I'm redbelt in tkd. It's a lethal art. Not the best but good enough against other arts but supreme against common thug/bully/crackheads/a-holes/drunken family member/etc...from my own experience :) BTW I never got black belt cause I don't want to be a registered lethal weapon, good idea I think. Hate to go to jail for a simple btch smack!

  • wow thats was pretty cool! it looks like you get pretty high off the ground when you do the 540 hook kick nice vid.

  • nice kick. it can apply to a FINISH HIM situation. but an opponent is not a immobilized object, either sport or real fight.

  • that is a 720 not a 540 (assuming the technique starts on the ground

  • @xnerfawesomenessx no its not 720. its 540.

  • @punkassbitch49 he spins 180 on the ground, and another 540 in the air.

  • Justin beiber made 25 accounts to dislike the video O.o because this is what the flying water bottle did to his head... the flying water bottle did a 540 on his face

  • @gioforshure really dude u talking about justin beiber and this is about taekwondo kicks...man wtf

  • 25 people are racist to asians 0.o

  • soo... graceful...

  • There are so many practical applications for this kick. It's awesome!

  • Se ve bien dificil Y_Y

  • great jump.

  • даа эт хороший видео пример для мя!!! спс таеквондисту и автору))

  • amazing!

  • this is fancy.. . BUT . it is pretty easy to avoid IMO. many people might dissagre with me.. but the reason i am saying that is because i am training thai and kick boxing-

and how to avoid it ? just keep your guard up. also be sure to dont stand still..

but ofc if you time it right, and hit.. u will give your oponent a hell of a hit.. :)

  • @gaffelnskje wat ur sayin is true but this move is more like a demonstration of power, agility, timing and coordination rather than a fighting move. its not rly used in fights but the very fact tht ur able to do this, proves get strength

  • @gaffelnskje

i take kick boxing too, but i disagree with you

how do you know that hes going to throw THAT kick in the first place?

you know, these guys break 2 - 4 louis ville sluggers at the same time with a single kick, dont think you might wanna block any kick that guy throws, unless youre surely strong as hell.

do you know how much training (intensity also) that is required to obtain a black belt in korea?

how to avoid the kick? (if you ever get the chance to predict it) evay it

  • @TheGooberment i see your point... but you dont need to be strong to block a kick like this..

if you have fought much ( not street fighting) bu under controlled forms, u learn how to block any kind of kicks.

and besides.. a kick like this is not used in fighting.. this is more for a show of kick... but,, if you hit your opponent, u will most likley knok him out.. but when will you ever be able to set a kick like this up?

  • @gaffelnskje

to answer your last and only question:

i do not know how i will set up a kick like this, my body just performs it, because of repeated conditioning i no longer think, my body thinks for itself, so if i throw this kick its because IT WILL hit him because i've been practicing for so long that my body just throws the kicks that it should

  • @TheGooberment you know. i agree.. it takes MUCH training, agility and strenght to do a kick like this, BUT like i wrote, it is pretty easy imho (in my honest opinion) to block. because you can see it comming..

and btw, it is a kick that take longer time to do then a regular spinn kick... yoi might disagree with me, but the oponent should be ery tired, or almost knocked out to get hit by a kick like that.. BUT if you are able to get a hit in.. it is just goofd

  • @gaffelnskje

when you fight against a TKD person your best defense is avoiding and counter kicking

  • @TheGooberment the best way is to keep your guard up... then go straight forward and do it fast.. if you do what a tdk guy wants (distance) he can pereform al kinds of kicks... if you go straight forward, he wond stand a chande.. i have tried

  • @gaffelnskje Well, I've never seen anyone use this kick in an actual fight, even in TKD matches. Not only is it difficult to execute but it goes no where near a person's head (way above) if properly executed. It's mostly for show - you gotta admit that shit is TIGHT.

In any case, I doubt you'd even expect a kick like that and it could very well nick you in the head just cuz it's totally unexpected but yeah, its easy to dodge.

  • @noobmelody it is... u dont do a kick like this without training :p, but i would not recomand it unless you fight a totaly NOOB that knows nothing about fighting .... ¨¨

but as you say. it is easy to avoide, and you dont expect a kick like this, BUT on the other hand, if you always keep your guard up, a tdk fighter has wery little chance of hitting you in the face, regardless of how fast he is ; )

  • @gaffelnskje I hear ya, but a "noob" is more jumpy. It's arrogant bully types that might (if ever) stand still and admit a blow like that. Now the scary thing about TKD is that if you always keep your guard up, you keep getting kicked to smithereens. And the moment the guard comes to atk, BAM spin hook kick oughta nowhere.

  • @noobmelody it deppends.. are you the effensive type, you just keep your guard up, but IF you are the offensice type, you start go straight forward with "full guard" if you know what i mean.

i TDK fighter wants you on distance, so he more easyley can execute his kicks , jump kicks or kicks.

but if you like i said go straight forward, he will be more surprised, and u know.. it is not easy to pereforme a kick when the opponent is 1 feet from you :p hehe

  • @TheGooberment Blocking it really isn't as hard as it may seem. The technique is so difficult to execute and keep balance that hitting anything with it could very well knock yourself down and half the original damage. That kick has to be PERFECTLY aligned - even sidestepping to it a few inches is enough to block it easily. It's all physics

  • jesus WHAT

  • This looks cool, but does it carry a lot of force?

  • wow.

  • Aghhhhhh So beautiful T_T

  • yea, now i can give chuck norris a hook kick...he and his crapy roundhousekick..lolz

  • I think these kind of kicks are not practical but I still respect these guys who have the strength, muscle coordination and agility to perform such kicks.

  • English please?
