  • Excuse my nescience, but please... what language is that? Please answer me... it's awesome...

  • A man, ready to sacrifice everything, his life and his soul for his people..a true hero!...i guess

  • @Fireserenade except when the hero turns into an abomination of the very thing he sought to destroy, and even worse. nevertheless, it is always a great story line to use in my personal opinion. :)

  • @Nelak91 Imo this story about Arthas is the best by far i love it:D

  • Guyz how could i draw this kind pictures? What program requests? And what mashine? Something like Wacom Cintiq, or a simple drawing tablet? I can draw pritty well...so im interested. Ty.

  • Unbesiegbar is not Invincible in english...

  • @SelonMyHero yes it is

  • cataclysm is only the beginning of the end... trust me people... mysts of pandaria WILL be the final event for wow... the game WILL come to an end.. just look at the picture of this video.. the music you hear, this is what you think when you hear WoW... but no panda's will rise... really? blizzard is out of ideas and thus implements comedy into the game, and this is what should NOT HAPPEN... thumbs up if you think the entire panda story like makes u feel sick...

  • @twinkstance Thumbs up for being an idiot.

  • WotLK are the best ... I love story of Arthas and his horse :(

  • @BunnyPrincess1999 Agree, Arthas is the best.

  • glory for the scourge heil the lich king long live arthas

  • awesome pic.. where do u´ve got it from? need!

  • cata ruined my game :/

  • @snyderkurva agreed....

  • @TheMightyMiki I think its latin. I dont know, but latins hard to learn for me.

  • @keenmachine80 he wasnt the Lich King yet, he was a death knight tho.

  • A true Paladin hasn't anything to search anymore in Azeroth...

Let's hope that the old Repuclic will give noble Knights a Chance to

regain their Glory and Honor. Then, One Day, we should start into

a true Fantasy-MMO Realm again, which doesn't get ruined as Azeroth

got ruined by the Blizzard Staff. Arthas, Rest in Peace, my Liege Lord.

  • Arthas: Is it... over?

Terenas: No King Rules forever, my son!

Arthas: I see... only Pandas before me...

  • @Lex1212121 I don't get it.

  • @marat271

    they be Talking about Mop.

  • This makes me sad for slaying Arthas now..I <3 this song.

  • The story for WoW is very entertaining, and the songs are usually very dramatic and and usually fitting in the context of the characters they pertain to. If it were less cartoony and more dark, I could live for this, but that is the realm of warhammer, and blizzard doesn't seem to want to take those steps anymore.... Going from world shattering to PANDAS....

  • @WeirdBoySkuzag

they're going from world shattering to concentrating on war between horde and alliance, not to panda's, they're just some unimportant thing that everyone cares about more than anything else in the new expansion

  • @grizzfang Whatever, everything's getting furry and the "war's" gonna be taken to an anime world... *sigh* I'd love to take total war WARHAMMER STYLE to them! The pansy alliance and (moderately awesome) Horde will be crushed beneath a greentide, a warhost of the most frightening nightmare warriors that make the DKs look like CUPCAKES, and the faithful to Sigmar/the GOD-EMPEROR OF *&^^IN' MANKIND! Regardless of story reasons that I quit WoW, it's Blizz's business philosophy.

  • @WeirdBoySkuzag

Warhammer Style? When was WoW ever Warhammer Style? Pandarens were in WoW lore since Warcraft. You apparently are forgetting about Taurens, which are called Cows, if you are going to refer to Pandarens as Pandas. Oh and Gnomes, and don't forget Space goats. WoW isn't going to an anime world, to say that is to call Jade Empire from Bioware, an anime world. But is it? Asian culture is just more badass. Also, what you describe is what little boys like. Little boys hate cute.

  • @DanieltheSkeptic I'm a big boy and hate cute also.

  • @WeirdBoySkuzag

Your concerns are what people thought about the Worgen. They were worried the game was catering to Twilight Fans, yet no Twilight references from players yet. Your concerns are misplaced, as WoW is going to get darker, because WoW has never focused entirely on the Alliance Vs Horde like they will in MoP, and this results in the evil Spirits known as the Sha getting stronger.

  • @DanieltheSkeptic also many people think MoP is going to suck because of Pandas, but that's actually going to help the real fighting/fun: Alliance vs. Horde :)

  • @playacree123

which is why I doubt they're mature adults. Because only idiots determine the success of an entire expansion before it is even in Alpha based solely on one playable race. The thought process behind Pandas being childish is inexcusable for anyone with a fully developed brain.

  • @DanieltheSkeptic agreed 100%. I mean sure Pandas are a little out of the blue, but i think it'll be fun! Nice architecture, nice plot from what i've heard from BC, and they're not doing the whole main antagonist scheme they've done since Burning Crusade. Going back to Vanilla attempt = win on my part. Just hope it lives up to the hype :)

  • @DanieltheSkeptic *looks about* Ah, thank god I don't actually care... It's not just the story, it's Blizzard's business ethics. Btw, I respected the Tauren because they were dignified. Also: Alliance? In my character lists? I actually never played the Alliance, barring isolated scenarios with a friend of mine. But let me be fair: It may be getting "darker," and if this is your cup of tea, fine, I just like mine with a bit more blood and total war.

  • @WeirdBoySkuzag

Then why are/were you playing WoW? There has never been total war, nor blood beyond the T Rating because WoW has and will always be Rated T.

  • @WeirdBoySkuzag

Oh and Blizzard's business ethics? Define that please? I'm not sure if you are referring to the common and smart business move of catering to the majority, which is what MoP resulted in. It is smart because losing the minority isn't as harmful to their profits as losing the majority. The minorities arguments against MoP are valueless because MoP isn't even close to open beta yet.

  • @DanieltheSkeptic It's actually refreshing, I almost believe the stereotype of WoW players was false, seeing as the ones I know are very kind and warm people, ready to listen and understand. You're about as understanding as.... Any one with a confederate flag as a bumper sticker. Blizzard legitimized gold selling, something against the terms of use, with the tradable pet. And believe me, it isn't "the majority." Unless the majority is talentless children and/or great apes

  • @WeirdBoySkuzag

They didn't legitimize gold selling as there is quite a difference between gold sellers and buy a non-BoP pet from their store. You could argue that the only reason why gold selling is against the Terms of Service is because of Account Compromising and things that aren't profitable to Blizzard as a business. Talentless children? And we are, as a species Great apes. Yes it is the Majority. Blizzard won't do something if the majority of the players are against it.

  • @DanieltheSkeptic

So far the only people who are like people with a confederate flag as a bumper sticker are those who are against MoP for what seems to be Xenophobic reasons i.e being against the Asian theme, Pandas being where the line is drawn and not anything like the graphics or Tauren. Why should I believe you? For the sake of profit, Blizzard will listen to the Majority and won't do something the majority dislikes, I would think this is basic knowledge for running a business.

  • @DanieltheSkeptic *whistles a tune* My, you don't actually understand? Alright, let me go slow.... They are taking da skill from da game... Great ape comment mean I can bang on keyboard and get purples from dungeon boss... Dey sell da pet ting for 10 bucks which most will then sell for 50k gold... Dat is da definition of gold selling, paying money for a profit of in game gold. Did I dumb it down enough? Call me a heretic, but I see things like I see them.

  • @WeirdBoySkuzag

My goodness you aren't too bright are you? If you Raid with DBM or reading the fights then you are an idiot. Your comment about taking skill away is DEMONSTRABLY false as everyone who complains about it are using Addons whose VERY PURPOSE is to make the raids easier (DBM, OMEN, HEALBOT etc etc). Again, Gold selling being against the rules is for a REASON, because of account compromising mainly. And no. The skilless kids still wipe in even the original cata heroics.

  • @WeirdBoySkuzag

This isn't about "understanding" this is about believing WoW to be something it is not (a blood and goring game for adults, as it is rated T, and always has been) If you want to argue someone's lack of understanding, then question your own. You have no clear arguing point. First it was MoP, and then somehow, Blizzard's business ethics, then SOMEHOW you are talking about WoW Stereotypes without any clear subject change. I find it rather odd.

  • @DanieltheSkeptic Byyyyyyyy your logic... It being, rated "T" and all that jazz... Warhammer Online was Rated T, and they added in some pretty dark themes. Hrmm, to that effect, Starcraft 1 was rated T, and that essentially displays the death of planets and their populations, horrid mutations and infestations, and weapons designed to burn planets to Ash, who else has those weapons? Why it would be the Imperium of man in Warhammer 40k, Chaos has mutations, and the Tyranids infest stuff. So, yeah.

  • @WeirdBoySkuzag

And they never had anything too bloody or gory that wasn't beyond that of Rated T. You won't ever see the actual gore of a person being ripped to shreds by some of these mutations would you?

  • @DanieltheSkeptic Yeah, yeah... The infested terrans are torn to shreds in SC2 by zealots (normal marines and marauders are also eviscerated) And before you go on about WoW being a saint, again... Arthas Menethil, our dear Lich King, killed his father, slaughtered his inherited kingdom, and then rose them all from the dead to attempt to do it all over again. (btw, I never use mods in raids ^^)

  • @WeirdBoySkuzag

What are we arguing about again? As far as I know, MoP won't change WoW from what it was before. After all, Theramore is getting destroyed, all out War, etc. In regards to MoP, it isn't even in Alpha testing, as far as I know, so due to its development, most criticisms against it are by default invalid and are simply irrational worries.

  • @WeirdBoySkuzag

What bothers me is that the people who say it is getting childish are ignoring everything but the specific "cuteness" of Pandas and the Pet Battle System that bears a resemblance to the Pokemon games that won't lose customers due to it being less costly than WoW and having much more features rather than being a mini game that might not even make it to Release.

  • @DanieltheSkeptic Can I pray the pandas won't make it? And they actually make it feel like the end of the world?

  • @WeirdBoySkuzag

Well again, more players want Pandas, than those who don't want Pandas, so guess what? Pandas are coming. And the End of the World was Cataclysm, and that is ending. Now the Alliance and Horde are extremely pissed at each other, and evil spirits will get stronger due to the rising conflicts. Oh and healing the damage of deathwing also plays a part.

  • @DanieltheSkeptic Glad I got out before the stupidity of all this sinks in... Enjoy a little extra furry in your game, for I will still hold dear the days of my troll from vanilla and skinning rabbits even though I was a priest and couldn't use any of it. I am onto better things where I can respect both sides of the conflict, and the company understands that sometimes the majority don't know what they want, and will cry, whine, and moan because they asked for it.

  • @DanieltheSkeptic Oh, and Hogger. Because god hated the humans of Azeroth and showed it with Hogger.

  • @DanieltheSkeptic There are many great games with a T rating, that aren't overboard, but also aren't pansy foot about the darker imagery and themes they add in. A teenager is much more understanding about why there would be a lot of death and pain in a WAR game than a younger kid would, who would probably cry about the things not getting back up when they fall down.

  • @WeirdBoySkuzag

I agree. But your definition on what constitutes "pansy" and the like is purely subjective. So what you consider to be "pansy" may be considered something else by another person, meaning your opinion is completely invalid from a critic's standpoint. Criticism is supposed to be objective.

  • @DanieltheSkeptic My point in all of this was: Blizzard needs to hold back a bit on their money grubbing (SC2 being split apart into three games, for instance... If they expect me to pay another 120 for Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void they are mistaken) and they should try to, if not throw in the deep end, at least ease their way into darker themes. Right now it just feels like bowser stole peach again.

  • @WeirdBoySkuzag

And I agree. But look at it from a developers standpoint. The ecomony, the fluctuating playerbase, the merger with Activision, the costs of maintaining servers from WoW, SCII and soon Diablo III, and perhaps increasing employment. They need to make sure they are making more money than spending to fund future projects like Titan and of course, to not lose profit.

    herrlich

  • @bucher99 Ja wirklich ohne scheiß

  • Comment removed

  • I abandoned wow a year ago but if they scourge with bolvar as a leader as a new fraction i'll gladly return

  • @goldengatex

Its called Faction, Fraction is something else entirely... The Word Fraction means "A Tiny Bit/piece".

  • Despite what people may think about WotLK, it was by far one of the best stories a villain could have.

  • thumbs up cause this story is sad and i want some thumbs up....uh.....carrots fear me......

  • Where'd you find that pic??? (I think that everyone is talking in spanish, not sure, so heres it.....)

    ¿Dónde encontró esa foto

  • Arthas is by far the most sympathied character in WoW. Snape's story is a tiny bean next to Arthas's.

  • Epic Pic:D

  • A True King always Has a Price of humanity

  • it was a skeletal horse with red glowing eyes I do believe.

  • its awesome to masturbate to this one~

  • The story is so warming, Arthas as a young fellow had a horse named Invincible, it once got hurt and had to be put down. He grieved for Invincible so much as a young guy that when he became Lich king he went back to the Burial spot and resurrected his old frined. thumbs up so people can read this great story

  • @keenmachine80 Except for the fact it's a twisted and malformed version of what really happened. At least get it right.

  • @Versudan too long, did not listen

  • @keenmachine80 If 19 words is 'TL' for you, then you need to get treated for ADHD.

  • @Versudan TOO SHORT FOR PLEASURE

  • @keenmachine80 Trololololololololol.

  • Too long did not listen

  • @keenmachine80 Actually, he didn't ressurect him once he became the Lich King, he did it after he become a Death Knight. After he'd murdered his father the king, he ran directly from lordaeron to the Balnir Farmstead where Invincible was buried. He then used the power of Frostmourne to awaken Invincible. That's why in Warcraft 3 RoC once you get to play as the undead in campaign Arthas rides Invincible. Before as a human he just ran everywhere.

  • @Xalted118 U gotta understand how long its been since i learned the story, i messed up a tad but it still remains somewhat tru what is said

  • @keenmachine80 I never said u were messing it up, just clearfying for the others alittle :)

  • @keenmachine80 Because of what the death of Invincible did to young Arthas, the story is far from warming. Its tragic and for Arthas traumatic. Because of Invincible's death Arthas vowed to do anything he could to protect others. Anything, which lead to his decent, i.e. becoming the Lich King.

If anything, it is the opposite of heartwarming.

I typed this all up mostly because you asked for thumbs up, and missed a huge point in what the death of Invincible DID to Arthas.

  • @hasseo1 well thats how i interpreted the story, a man that wanted his friend so much. To me its warming, but its in the eye of the beholder

  • @keenmachine80 I can definitely see where you got that from, but I took the more serious to the book like meaning from it. Also I mostly just typed it out of annoyance of seeing another person ask for thumbs up. :/

  • @hasseo1 Im a green thumbs whore what can i say?

  • @keenmachine80 I didn't know that. That's fucking awesome. Gives me chills.

  • @keenmachine80 but the book was really hard to read xD i´ve never knew what actually happened especially the end.^^ and i hate Arthas :D And i feel sorry for Jaina >->

  • @keenmachine80 he didnt rescurrect invincible as lich king, but after he killed his father.

invincible is the horse which he rides in frotzen throne

  • @LoLprogamerCarver its been a while since i read the stories, Ive forgot many details forgive me :)

  • @keenmachine80 np man was just telling

  • wo haste das erste bild her?

  • Comment removed

  • @RambaZambaGames

    JE-DER-ZEIT

  • Mit dem Tod Arthas endete die

    beeindruckendeste Geschichte in WoW *seuftz*

  • @xxXYohann96Xxx

I wish I knew how to speak Japanese.

    Since im a german Otaku. ; )

  • I feel really sorry for Arthas but I would probably done almost the same thing if i were in his position. Because he saved more people by killing all the infected in Stratholme than leaving them alone. And a small part of me would accept the power Arthas gained.

  • episch ein epsichen

  • einfach nur episch! *-*

  • Mein allerliebstes Reittier *-*
