Why is it, that when it comes to leadership in war, Britain always exceeds when it comes to naval operations? Is it because the sea is always the first enemy that has to be dealt with? Is it because incompetency shows up right away aboard a ship, whereas on land it could remain hidden for a long time? Service at sea requires teamwork and a trust not normally found in army units, and as such, maybe good candidates for leadership are quickly recognized. It's no wonder Britain won!
@Bullettube Because Britain is a "naval country", it's power for almost few hundreds years was depending on her navy. That profited in naval warfare knowledge, technology and tradition. As to comparing land and sea warfare - it's just too different environments too compare in such sort space :)
