I do this thing where I leave a piece of wire at the beginning sticking out, then when I get to the end of wrapping, I wrap around that first wire, turn it under and it makes it into a nice study loop:)
@tasteslikeginger I made a ring a couple of weeks ago. It was cute but not perfect since it was my first wire ring. (I used wire as the ring base instead of gluing the nest to a pre-made base)
I have made similiar ones and turned them into earrings before which turned out really cute. What is a fun twist is to use copper wire and little wooden beads. Haven't made them in a while I should make some.
@WhitneyFletcher I made a quick one and turned it into a ring. I sent the pic to you via etsy, I didn't know your email to send it to. I also included a pic of my first ATC with a polymer clay face I had made.
@xxgoodnevil17xx The prices vary. In the tutorial I used electric fence wire that was about $7 for a huge roll. I've also used floral wire that was only a few dollars. I've found that buying wire like that is usually cheaper then buying the same gauge on the jewelry aisle...and since I'm just making these for myself it doesn't matter what it was 'meant' for.
love it... more more more ;D

Just made my first one with round plastic pearls and thin wire out of my father's garage. Very simple and it turned out quit good.

@opallb The copper wire sounds like an awesome idea! Let me know if you make one like that :)
