Well I loved it anyways, I was not at Robson square for this dance. But I did catch a Flash Mob dance live right in the middle of Granville street. It was a blast and had to have had at least 100 dancers all in red scarves and mitts.

this is more like a corporate-sponsored Hudson Bay commercial dance-off than a flash mob. this is cute, but it just reeks of some of kind of planned social-media-friendly marketing ploy, probably to sell mittens and olympic gear with fresh-faced disney-type dancers. it's the antithesis of a flash mob, which is more of an anarchic quality of invading public spaces. this is more like FAME high school putting on a show in the same public square they've been at all week.
