Guys, you're all wrong. There's an interview where she said it herself-she didn't have a stalker when she wrote the song. So many people thought they knew her through her songs that it drove her crazy. Yes, she did go to a hotel like @amy4evur stated, but her 'stalker' was all in her head. So she wrote a song about it. yeah, amy had a stalker. i'm sure she's had more than one but this was about an especially creepy one that REALLY followed her... and did other stuff but follow her apparently. wow. that must've been so scary for amy!!! she said she had to like sleep in a hotel for a few months until they got the whole thing "under control". whoever it was that hurt her by doing that... i will kill you if i find out who you are!!!! no one hurts amy and gest away with it in my book!!!!!
