The 25th is stated to be the birth of the SUN or SON and you worship the SUN or SON on SUNDAY. That is also why you say AMEN at the end of every prayer Amen RA who is the SYN GOD.

Thats why they go to church on 'SUN'day which interestingly enough, is in complete contradiction with the teachings of the Sabbath which is on (our United States) saturday.

Easter is not in December because the of the spring equinox. At this point of the year, there is more daylight than night, thus the sun has officially risen. Did you ever wonder why Easter is never on the same day.

Thank you cdpsr for your comment. What iwas the point that you were trying to make. Easter is a moveable feast because it is based on the Vernal Equinox which marks the 1st day of Spring.

Easter occurs on the 1st Sunday, after the 1st moon following the Vernal Equinox. You can research this theough any Encyclopedia.

I have a question Dr. Hagins Correlated Dec22nd(the winter solstice) and the next three days(the three days the sun returns) which ends on the 25th, with the reason Christians Celebrate Christmas on Dec. 25th, but the explanation he gives sounds more closely related to the story of the ressurection (i.e. Easter) and not Christams. So why then wouldnt they make Easter on Dec. 25th?

Same reason people think 3 wise men visited Jesus when he was born, which never happened. They visited him when he was a toddler...

Both Holidays are backwards, but people ain't trying to hear that, it would destroy their whole belief system...

I don't see how that would destroy anyone's belief system. What's important is what the celebrations represent, what does it matter if the dates are off?

Thank you MsFashunoitall, Dec. 25th marks the day that the amount of Sunlight starts to increase so it marks the rebirth of the Sun. This is why the celebration of Christmas was decreed to be on Dec. 25th at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD.
