Also check out 1:14 in the second part of the video to see the armor cancel countered by throw. There it still used meter.

@sho01 he still has full ex meter after it though. I'm guessing he buffered the throw into focus which canceled the focus but left him with armor. Kinda like gen's parry glitch or the focus taunt glitch. I've never seen or heard of it before though.

@Kirioger Armor cancels take no meter. It's kind of a glitch. You do a move with armor on wake up then do another move very quickly. It makes a kind of option select where if they hit you you cancel the move from the armor taking no meter but if they don't hit you the ex move comes out as normal. It doesn't use focus actually, only armor moves can do it like Guy's ex run for example. It might look like d, d/f, f 2XK, d, d/f, f 3XK really fast for Guys wake up ex run into ultra 1.

I can see Guy pressure game has been stepped up some, with the cr.lk able to keep you in there a bit longer. Good to see.
