@soxmonki i tested a eclipse 2008 GT, i think it had 300 hp, and manual... it felt very powerful compared to my cougar. i also tested the new mustangs (non gt) and charger, i find them sluggish and horrible interior and handling. i also got to test drive cars for volkswagen including audis and bentleys they own. of course the bentley gts were the best but actually i REALLY liked the VW EOS, its a 250hp V6 and handled very well. i want it to be my next car, or the eclipse.

look at mustang it got the 4.0 sohc from a ford explorer horrid engine

and most would not say a 2.0 or a 2.5 from ford in last 12 years as fast

mercury and ford is same car they change the seats crown vic and town car

The problem with American cars is that they loose value very quickly. The reason is because everybody knows that 5 years old Lincoln is a very high risk investment unlike Mercedes or BMW. I had a Lincoln LS , the first 4 years were awesome after that it makes my life hell and I started hating this brand who made my life very Difficult. I really wish that American cars will gain the respect, because I want to buy MKS, but im just afraid to repate the same experience.

I did buy this car after I drove it. Took it out last night on I-74 & before I knew it I was doing 80mph. Whoa...it's sooooo smooth, you don't realize how fast you're driving. No it doesn't have a manual shift, but the 6 speed auto w/ select shift is very, very nice. Makes you feel somewhat like you have a manual, but ... well ... it is a luxury car. It really IS an amazing car!
