It was shot near Tighnabruaich in the Kyles of Bute in Scotland. My parents ran a guesthouse in Kames at the time and they put up all the crew! I don't really remember as I was 4 at the time. Think the church shots are Kilbride Church near Kilbride Bay / Ostel Bay, think the big house is Ballimore at Otterferry and the jetty and beach and spit are definitely at Otterferry, on Loch Fyne.
