  • how about you just ride and not worry about. or buy a chatterbox.

  • you can put it in the middle. you wont really need to worry about adjusting your shocks if you already have them set.

  • You have the 1st gen zx10!! The original beast!!!

  • i like that i idea i looking at a zx 10 or a gsxr 1000....but gud vid

  • Damn dude you're pretty out of breath in this video LOL... nice vid though.

  • it looks like they would get in the way iof your clutch if your hand is on your clutch and trying to turn to the right i could be wrong

  • drummingfool90 - Take a look at the response video, where I have it mounted. It's not in the way.

  • are you gonne hear that when your helmets on and your going 60 mph??

  • yes

  • @Spencerian Rofl...pwned.

  • do u have an aftermarket exhaust

  • musclekills - Yes

  • 7Bens7Music7Channel - Look at the video response. I uploaded a video with the bike going on the freeway.

  • get a blue tooth compatable chatter box and sync your phone to it.

  • you sed you wanted the speakers hidden why not place them under your fairing and have more than 2 ?

  • Shifta93 - I wanted the speakers pointing to my head, and not blasting away from me.

  • rob. im not sure what kind of phone you have but i have found a solution to the 'riding and listening to music problem'. i own a sony ericsson, and the head phones that come with that, actually go into your ear. they have rubber walls so they stay in, and block out sound. this means that you can slide your helmet on without knocking them out, and you can play your music at an appropriate level and actually hear it! im pretty sure you can get them for other phones or music devices aswell..

  • 08SJF08 - Yeah, I know the in-ear stereo buds you're talking about. The problem is that it's too painful for me when I put on the helmet. If it wasn't painful, I'd try that.

  • where did you get theses speakers at?

  • brandonyates06 - I got the speakers on ebay. Get the low profile ones.

  • cant find them what did you search for? or find them and send me the link please!! thanks

  • yerr i ageree but . i think that will be too dangerous and too much of a disraction. plus u might wanna show off ur speakers .

  • ROCK N ROLL!!!!

  • I am so confused man...I thought you rode a ninja 250r, but in one of your other vids you comments that you ride a ZX10r? What's the deal?

  • powera86 - It's a ZX-10r, but many people mistake it for a 600cc bike. I was going to put a 250cc sticker on the bike to mess with people... like you... hehehehe

  • ehh, i would just have a tank bag with the speakers in them and flap the zippered portion away or inside the tankbag.. i have a set hooked up that way and quick disconnect with tankbag in hand. you must have a amp under the seat for it to be loud enough because at slow cruising is fine but at speed forget it just bunch of noise especially with a full face helmet on.. half lids are the best.

  • dansidecar - I did explore that, but I wanted something permanent instead of a tankbag that could get ripped off. I have a mini amp that goes with the speakers, so it should be ok.

  • Would love to see a video when completed Rob! good luck with it!!

  • I would love to see a video of how this project turns out.

  • Pretty clever Rob, you should turn them full blast and play "Ride of the Valkyries" or the Indiana Jones theme..people in cars would be like "WTF is that?"

  • LOL Bill

  • Nice speakers, you should find out if they sell them online, and if not, start to manufacture them yourself and sell to other bikers, and you'll have install instructions and a model bike that they've been installed on.

  • such a sexy bike =] let us know how the fitting of the speakers goes =]. Please don't cut a whole in your chassis =]

  • sweet!

i have been wanting to do this for some time. keep us posted so that i can see how it comes out =)

    thanks robert.

  • Yeah they would look cooler hidden in the fairing.I hope it works out for you.

  • Very cool idea. I wonder how loud you can hear it while riding.

  • Kelso - when I get them hooked up, we'll be having a follow up video. Hopefully the video will have some background music. hehehe

  • very interesting mod, but I bet you wont be hearing them.

  • sunnyjason - I thought about that, but I think I will be hearing them just fine. The speakers are directed towards me and the windscreen will reflect the sound towards my helmet. I can hear through the helmet, despite having an ultra quiet helmet and earplugs.

  • Keep us posted. Good idea.

  • First green goldwing I've seen man! ;)

    *kidding*

They seem like they will hide well and since black they'll be hard to notice unless you look really close up!

I guess they'll hook up to some iPod type mp3 player?

    Cool idea!

  • KTMsmurf - yeah, they'll be hooked up on an mp3 player that will be mounted on the triple tree near the ignition. It will have a stereo 3.5mm plug that I can stick into either an mp3 player, cd player, etc.
