You have to be bold to make money with millionaires. Everybody else would be silly to buy such. And I'm not even sure if the quality is decent ! I heard 2000€ for another HD drive.

Too bad you have to have the disc in to play Blu-Rays. I really wish someone would develop an interface this good for PCs. I like how Media Center is compatible with CableCARD tuners among others, but it won't play back FLAC and MKV files without some hacking. It's interface isn't as good as this either. Boxee is nice too, but it can't record TV.

As stated, you can get a Kaleidescape for under 10 grand.

And people will try to compare it with a HTPC or even the Xbox apparently, but these do not have many of the features of the Kaleidescape, and most certainly do not have the build quality or reliability.

OK Just to give you a idea of the price of one of these. WITHOUT the big screen WITHOUT the projector WITHOUT the speakers WITHOUT a monitor or TV WITHOUT the fancy touch screen remote control WITHOUT any other fancy equipment like the curtains for the big screen the lighting would coast you £38.000 (thousand) and all you get for that is one CD reader and one storage server unit this is a 3U storage server with 14 TB of storage space AND THAT'S ALL YOU GET! these products are not worth £38.000

38,000 pounds? You have officially been taken for a ride. it is true that the Kaleidescape system is not cheap, but it is the best in the market today. certainly not for the faint of heart. ;)
