Even long before he got caught, he was always VERY worried about his safety. He was actually completely paranoid... and he knew why!
He loved the sound of his own voice, but I think the most remarkable detail of his personality is that he absolutely BELIEVED in his own B.S. That, for sure, helped him rob people of everything they'd worked for.

I have worked for the guy. I have too many examples of his megalomaniac behaviour to list here... To this day, I am still convinced he used some kind of hypnosis technique to convince people to give him their money. I have met quite a few of A.C's clients, and believe me, they were no fools! They were far more intelligent than him, that's for sure. So how else could he convince them to give him hundreds of thousands every year?...

What reserch are people doing? How did he get so far? I met him when he was selling realestate driving a cheap old car. He worked out of an lifeless office in Kedron, his house at Hendra had the same lifeless feel.

not only is Andrew Carr a total ego-maniac.. who has hurt many trusting people..both financialy and emotionally. He continues to live the "high life". He currently drives a new Saab and resides in up-market accommodation. He can be contacted direct on 0414 505 836.

Wow! I never heard of this person before now. I guess Andrew Carr is a good cautionary tale. There is nothing wrong with building up wealth and it is regrettable that these people lost all their money. But, how could people hand ALL their hard earned money to ANYBODY?!

No doubt, but watching this all over again I still find it hard to believe people would jeopardise years of careful saving and investment for a couple of high pressure sales tactics.

Yeah, I know what you mean, and I don't believe anyone with a reasonable amount of wisdom would've fallen for such blatant, sly tactics.
- But I happen to of met a fair few of the people who were present during major parts of his scam; and it seems that the group dynamic was (and is) one that exudes a sense of Family, Hype, and unquestionable respect for their "infallible" leaders - A cult, basically. And so it was a Perfect set-up for Andrew to perform his scams.
