  • You know what, I like it!

  • I love this video and this song! Well done!!!!

  • @cafeguyuma Thanks so much. it was a gift from god. I wrote it shortly after I had converted to the faith after 31 years as an evangelical. I am so thankful for Christ giving us a living voice of authority through the office of the papacy.

  • @dobrodoc Welcome home!

  • Beautiful song! I've never heard it before.

  • @YeshuaisYahweh1

I'll admit I have trouble accepting that.

This has probably gone far enough for now.

  • @MsPandaRosa Ok?

  • @YeshuaisYahweh1

I see no reason to argue further.

  • @YeshuaisYahweh1

I think it's John Paul that kissed the Quran, can't imagine Benedict doing that (tho he would show respect).

As to the condom thing, not sure if that's what he said.

Hard to imagine "God's Rottweiler" as a heretic.

  • I love our Pope!!! God bless him.

  • @jegpinky Yea, I think John Paul ll was better thow.

  • @YeshuaisYahweh1

Even Pope Benedict would agree with that, he was the blessed man's friend.

  • I love this Pope as the last and all before but I really think he's come into his own since the GB visit ,he keeps getting better ,of course it's the Holy spirit and JP11 who help him along , God bless you Benedict .

  • Great video! God Bless the Popes! God Bless His Church, The Holy Roman Catholic Church!

  • It's still a most fine song.

    God bless Papa Benedict.

  • @guiller141414 the most ignorant commonplace one can hear is about the Vatican riches and about how rich is people living in that place. Beside

Priests and Nuns, which are poor by choice, the folks living and working in the Vatican State are just ordinary working-class with ordinary lives.

  • God, I miss JPII. He was like a father to me.

    Karol, please pray for us

  • What is the title of the song

  • Room of Tears

  • @guiller141414 Their money is in the form of priceless artifacts. It is not actually usable cash. Il Vaticano has a lot of debt.

  • where coul I get the lyric of this song?

  • escri: look down all the comments. I posted them about 2 years ago, in the comments section.

  • Tibi dabo claves Coeli Regnorum !

  • Such a beautiful song+ idea. I knew Bene. before he was pope too. Only one tiny problem w the video. When you say 'A litany of saints has gone before at 3:48 you show a painting by Pinturicchio of Rodrigo Borgia as Alexander VI praying !! Please replace that image of Rodrigo Borgia!!! In Rome just a bit shocking! A bit like placing an image of Paris Hilton or Bill Clinton with halos in a montage of great saints like Teresa of Calcutta and SFrancis! Alexander VI is light years from canonization!

  • Poor Alexander could use our prayers!

Well, somebody had to be the worst pope. At least he was a patron of the arts.

  • VIVA IL PAPA

  • Don't say Rubbish!!!!!! firstly very very few people live in the Vatican, it's mainly Nuns and priests and of course His Holiness the Pope but there is no use of Liquid cash because they simply live life to the needs they have and nuns and priests very rarely have need for material possessions.

  • @priest008

Thank you for setting that straight.

  • You could say the same of TBN and the Benny Hinn crowd.

  • bleah

  • God bless the Popes, the leaders of his church on earth. God bless Benedict XVI .

  • Wonderful !!!

  • VERY VERY VERY GOOD !!! Absolutely tuching an full of LOVE, Caritas, Dignity and Joy and Peace...

The truth is shining behind every lovely picture ... who has eyes to see, shall see ...

  • The scene at 1:10, the lamb John Paul is holding reminds me so much of the little "sleep like a kitten" Chessie, mascot of the Chesepeake railroad. She'd be just as safe and loved in the blessed Pope's arms.

  • GREAT, GREATER, GREATEST!! God bless you for this wonderful song!!

  • Oh this is a very nice video. I hope you make other like this one.

Oh by the way I hope you get to meet the pope one day. I know I do.

  • Love Benedict XVI, standing for justice in this sad, materialistic world. God bless you Papa.

  • Viva Papa Bennedetto!!!!

Wonderful song, really wonderful, god bless you Mr Soloist!!!!

  • thanks so much God bless you also

  • Who does the music? It's so fitting.

  • May Christ Increase!

  • Amen

  • What a great song! Thank you very much. We share something so important that is beyond us: our faith, our love for God and our love for the Church.

    Keep the good work!

  • Breath-taking, keep it up.

    God Bless.

  • God loves you and I do too!

  • Can someone write here text of this song?

  • A plume of smoke, rises in the air Was it white or black, it's a bit unclear But there's thunder outside As your heart pounds in your ears The weight of the world, has fallen on you It's like a dream, but a little too true It wasn't in your plans You'd have this job to do You gaze up at the ceiling at the moment of truth 500 years have gone by and the sky is still blue You see the hand of God Is now pointing right at you
  • Chorus: You're in a room of tears And they've closed the door But there's a litany of saints Who've gone this way before (repeat) They give you three pair of shoes, you try each one One's too big, the other's just a bit snug And only one pair Fits just like a glove A quiet retirement with some time to read A little bit of Mozart was all you'd need You never thought You'd wear the Fisherman's ring
  • You have a flock to feed, about a billion souls,

That's a little bit of pressure from what you've been told

But there'll be a bit more grace

When you sit on Peter's throne

  • I posted from the last verse first, sorry.

  • Thank you a lot!

  • Thank you for a beautiful and tastefully done piece of work. I saw you and your lovely wife on EWTN and was drawn to your site. Please continue your music. I loved your images also--together (visual and song) they speak to the soul.

  • That was wonderful

  • Very beautiful song! If you wrote words then you are a very talented person. Thank you!

  • I lost my last link and wanted to say how much I enjoyed the website and your music.

I also felt it was a little like Neil Young in style, also like Crosby Stills, Nash & Young. All my era as a young fellow however my life is totally in the opera and classical end these days.

Looking forward to hearing more compositions from you.

    God Bless

  • Thank you Dobrodoc

  • expatmartin:

yes , dobrodoc is russ rentler.

Cultureboy: Isn't there a group of nuns in one image?

Just to clarify,IMHO, the song promotes Christ throughout because it points to the passage of the keys to His Church. Without Christ, No Church, No pope. The song is also trying to express the humanity of the men God chooses to lead the Church. Reluctant, surprised, and humbled by the weight placed on the shoulders, but knowing that the God of the Universe ultimately gives grace for

  • can you tell me who wrote and sang the song? Was it Russ Rentler?

    thank you

  • thank you

  • what a beautiful song and deeply moving thank you. God bless Pope benedict XVI

  • By the word "rock" the Saviour cannot have meant Himself, but only Peter, as is so much more apparent in Aramaic in which the same word (Kipha) is used for "Peter" and "rock". His statement then admits of but one explanation, namely, that He wishes to make Peter the head of the whole community of those who believed in Him as the true Messiah; that through this foundation (Peter) the Kingdom of Christ would be unconquerable; that the spiritual guidance of the faithful w

  • That thou art Peter [Kipha, a rock], and upon this rock [Kipha] I will build my church [ekklesian], and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven".

  • The Rock is Jesus not Peter.

1Corinthians 10:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

  • We all know that Jesus is the Rock but he made Peter rock too where Jesus' church will be build upon. Jesus is the cornerstone no doubt about that. jesus had to entrust his ministry to someone when he ascends back to the Father. that is why Jesus gave his apostles, and especially to Peter the key, his authority, authority to govern His church.

    Pax Domine!

    +God bless!

  • I thought this was Don Mc Clean singing and the I listened to the lyrics. Very well put together. They were two great friends Jospeh and Charles. I have downloaded five Habemus Papam's starting with the coronation of Pius XII. Great history to be seen.

  • Beautiful song.

  • This is a wonderfully talented musician. Let's hope we hear and see more of his work here.
