Taking off, contorting, twisting, arching backwards with arm reaching right over the head to the other side in mid-air and not only retrieving but smashing the shuttle cock is nothing short of spectacular.

All pros can do this shot anytime but its too risky because if the defender managed to cross drop shot it to the forehand, it will be too difficult to recover and return the shuttle.

Even though Chong Wei has improved so much tremendously over years, still Lin Dan has always managed to handle LCW. LCW himself said so and he's working hard just to make sure he can fulfill his lifetime dream to win Olympic gold and to beat Lin Dan.

If only you read the news in Malaysia, Lee Chong Wei admitted to have been defeated by Lin Dan many times and he has greatest respect to Lin Dan and so is Lin Dan to LCW. So, stop your misleading comment.
@ChyeHengTay dude chill, I LOVE LCW. HE IS MY FAVOURITE PLAYER and i respect him more than any other badminton player. His style is amazing, so is his personality. It was just a joke, don't take it seriously, i love lcw and malaysia and lcw is the reason why im going to visit and maybe even live in malaysia someday. He is a true inspiration, just like every other player but he inspires me the most.

Lin Dan (Talented Player) VS Lee Chong Wei (Enthusiast Player). hehe. I never like LCW's game until recently with his tremendous unbelievable improvements ! LCW deserves respect for his persistence in improving his badminton skills and everything. :)
:P . guys that smash was fast and on the roundahead side, this is VERY difficult, maybe you can make the jump annd hit the shuttle but with the right timing with the jump and the timing when ur hitting the shuttle is so difficult to do it in a perfect way..
