@dominator90241 It's easy to get into. It covers like 3 blocks. The key is to stay out of sight of the cops because they patrol every 15 minutes. You can enter at Gardendale near Erickson. There are a few places to get in around that area. Just be careful.

Me and my friend visited this place. Its not easy to get into unless you don't mind getting a few cuts and bruise's climbing over the wire fence. At night its scary as fuck especially when your inside.When we walked past the old chemistry lab we seen 2 ghosts boning each other, then heard a weird slopping sound. The south side is getting there and the eastern end. Honestly I don't belive that was an asylum but that was the old Rancho Los Amigos Hospital and perhaps they may have had a mental ward or so. @MrBOSSLUIS My friend with the camera did not want to go in. He was really scared and we kept hearing things behind us so he kept pointing at the noises. Also, we did check out the room thoroughly where the growling came from. I shined the light into every corner of that room and nothing was there. It was air tight with no windows or way to get out either.
@MsWhysoseriouz No address, but it's a big facility that covers about 3 blocks with about 2 big clusters of buildings, a couple 2 story facilities and a couple big houses. The movie Bubba Ho-Tep was filmed in one of those houses. Some of the cross streets are Gardendale, Paramount, Imperial and Old River School Rd. in Downey, CA. If you'll look on Google maps between those streets you can see the buildings

Damn that place has evil spirits in it definitely I live in Downey and everyone I know who has been there agrees there is a enormous amount of negative energy there, objects being projectiled through the room and voices like these speaking in latin...ghosts that speak latin are demons...Don't believe me do some homework and get ready for enlightenment...Like I said i live in Downey and have done my share of Ghost Hunting these dudes have balls...this place should have TAPS or Ghost Adventures...

The noises/growling was most likely raccoons - there's a bunch of them there... and possums... and skunks.... and big cockroaches..... and gang members... and used syringes on the ground.... no ghots tho. :)

@catwhisperer05 Could be, but as you can see we thoroughly searched the room and nothing was there and nothing ran out. The only way out was up the stairs. Also, I don't have the supreme authority to say whether all the moans, orbs or sounds were ghosts or not and neither do you. That's like saying there is no God or no intelligent life in the universe. You have no idea and neither do I.

I hope you don't live in Downey. That's a very eerie town. It's being run over by minorities of whom don't care about much. Soon it will suffer the same fate as Lynwood and Paramount. You watch. The south side is getting there and the eastern end. Honestly I don't belive that was an asylum but that was the old Rancho Los Amigos Hospital and perhaps they may have had a mental ward or so. I do know that the Downey Fire Dept. utilizes these edifices for training purposes.

@MrBOSSLUIS My friend with the camera did not want to go in. He was really scared and we kept hearing things behind us so he kept pointing at the noises. Also, we did check out the room thoroughly where the growling came from. I shined the light into every corner of that room and nothing was there. It was air tight with no windows or way to get out either.

@MsWhysoseriouz No address, but it's a big facility that covers about 3 blocks with about 2 big clusters of buildings, a couple 2 story facilities and a couple big houses. The movie Bubba Ho-Tep was filmed in one of those houses. Some of the cross streets are Gardendale, Paramount, Imperial and Old River School Rd. in Downey, CA. If you'll look on Google maps between those streets you can see the buildings

Your friend's got a big ass pony tail! He's got a lot of balls, because I wouldn't venture into an abandoned place that could be crawling with intoxicated gangbangers if I had hair that long; I could risk one of them grabing me by the hair while runing away, or trying to fight. Shit, fucking place is creepy, but there were probably other people exploring at the same time, hence the noises. Cool video!
