I was in England for a month. The only food I didn't like in England was the school cafeteria's Shepard's Pie, and the one time I had really tasteless Fish and Chips at King Henry VIII's castle. Every other food I ate there was really good though!!! (Even the black pudding was tasty!)

But, I'm an American... According to the rest of the world, my opinion doesn't matter. xD

It depends on everyone's tastes in food. English/Scottish/Welsh food is filling and heavy, made to fill a working mans belly for the day. It's bland, very little traditional food has any spicy seasoning. Funnily enough, the UK's favourite type of food is actually curry.

I hate the idea of Haggis and Blood pudding. But Scones are sweet and tasty and Hetalia made fun of them *tear* ;)

in all food cultures, there are some weird dshes, like blood pudding for example (english), haggis (scottish) which has sheep's heart, lungs, and liver stuffed in it's stomach with some seasoning, escargot (snails, french), chocolate chip pancake and sausage on a stick (american), goat genitals soup(chinese) so it's unfair to just target english cooking when every country has at least one weird dish, but english food is awesome anyway (fish 'n' chips ftw!)

Not trying to argue or anything. but scottish dishes are VERY different from english differences, being from scotland myself, its because at the time, we had bad land and (still to this day) bad weather not permitted to grow more exotic foods that couldnt withstand our bad weather. And scottish dishes are quiet complicated, the traditional dishes that is. Englands dishes on the othe hand are very safe.
