Even after all these years Arnold is still without question the greatest of all time .. Oliva had incredible size but couldn't match Arnold in terms of proportion and shape .. Arnold really had everything .. That's why he reigned so long as the champ .. Today the big emphasis is on size and not enough on shape/proportion ..

Arnold = most overrated bodybuilder in history. The guy was phenomenal don't get me wrong, but his physique had glaring weaknesses - weak triceps, quads, and shoulders. There's no way he's number one. He wouldn't even make my top 10

Remember he competed over 30 years ago when bodybuilding was not mainstream and was a great pioneer of the sport. Also Imo today's bodybuilders have too big muscles and quads and are ugly.

Arnold might be the biggest name simply because his brand spans multiple spheres of life - truly an inspirational man. but technically, as purely a bodybuilder, he has been eclipsed by many bodybuilding greats - that is simple facts. I think his pure cult of personality causes fans to conflate his overall achievements into one huge misguided cult of personality.
