Me too! They seem to ad-lib more in concerts than when they perform on music shows. By the way, I can't wait for them to 'come back' already! It's been sooo long since Blossom.
yea they were supposed to come back in Jan, but they're having trouble with their company.. I'm not sure when they'll comeback. I heard they finished recording and stuff though
their record company is very business oriented, so they're not giving bigmama much freedom. they choose the very typical/redundant songs for them, and not let them decide on the title track. which is very sad. I'm not sure if they'll switch to a different company any time soon because of the contract, but I hope they do :/
That sounds terrible! It seems like Big Mama really cares about their music and their fans, and I respect them more for not wanting to put out crap just to sell more CDs. I get the sense that they're all pretty independent and strong minded women, so I hope their company would just back off and let them be themselves. I also hope they are not tied up to a lengthy contract .. they deserve to be with a company that gives them all the creative control they want.
By the way, do you mind if I put up this information on my blog? I bet there are other fans who are wondering why Big Mama hasn't released a new album.
I have watched this video so many times already.
Their composer and arranger and the orchestra
are all great too. If they can translate this to Japanese maybe they can do it in English so that the world will hear them. They are fantastic.
