I have been shooting groundhogs for the past 3 years in my yard - it's an ongoing war after their tunneling made a large retaining wall collapse. These are very destructive animals and any tree-hugger would understand that if they had to repair the thousands of dollars worth of damage that these monsters can do to your property. Once groundhogs invade your property there is no other effective way to control these beasts but shooting them.

The groundhogs eat almost everything in my yard - garden, bushes, tree branches on small trees - they have a huge appetite and left unchecked will level everything in my yard in a very short time. Because of the variety of food sources readily available to them it's almost impossible to bait them with poison food - I've already tried and failed. The only solution is to keep shooting these little monsters.
