Study history. Human beings came from Africa, and look at Egypt which is part of Africa, it is there that things like Religion, languages, etc were born. Consider the Egyptian Hieroglyphs as the earliest example of writing which started off civilization. In addition look at the "middle ages" the Europeans spent thousands of years fighting each other and they were corrupt and decadent, well the people in China invented guns and paper and they flourished.
