Versatile Srividya can bring life to any role. She was the finest classical dancer of her time. Still I had not seen a single good dance number of her in the movies! I had the privilage to see her live performance in Raja Annamalai Hall in Chennai! In spite of her outstanding acting abilities, she never received a national award!! She did not get even a challenging role in movies! Against the wishes of her mother she married a selfish greedy rogue and finally divorced him and died prematurely !
