But it's also the same soldiers and veterans who are first to criticize any type of government aid that is given to it's poor, needy, and less fortunate. Complaining, saying it's the peoples fault for getting themselves into that situation. Well from this standpoint you can look at the veterans and say the same thing. Maybe you shouldn't have joined.

Bush had those reports the day he took office and chose to do nothing. Chris, it is the first of many attempts to weaken our military. BHO is going to chisel away at the funding, weapons, and morale of the greatest fighting force the world has ever known. Look at it this way though, if/when there is a great social upheaval, what few troops remain in the US armed forces will be less likely to fire upon their own people and more apt to fire upon the oppressive regime that reduced them to nothing. A very non-optimistic view but theoretically possible none the less.
