The quote comes from an interview in the postgame locker room after they defeated the Rays. Emily Jones was interviewing him for FSSW. It's a little difficult to make out what he said because he was getting sprayed vociferously at the time. The musers on the Ticket were discussing it on the morning show the next day. Gordon said it should be the new team slogan, and that someone should do a song. I wrote it in about ten minutes, recorded it that evening and emailed it to Gordon that night.
I do not know exactly when/where the quote came from. I am pretty sure it was toward the end of the regular season when the team was getting ready for the division series.
Does anyone know from which exact interview this quote came from? I have looked through transcripts and videos from MLB and can not identify the quote. Was it ALCS or ALDS, pregame or postgame, and what was the exact date? A link to the interview would be appreciated.
What this team does is win, and they in A LOT. 1 more. That how many thy need.

@Jiff2 The lyric at that time calls out the doubters. Besides, what happened between the Yankees and Rangers this year?
