It is a nice car but the Avalon has this segment won over with comfort and the Taurus has the sporty SHO so it doesn't have much going for it, not even value. I also think a huge problem with the Maxima is the fact that the Altima seems to be the Maxima's biggest competitor.
If you want performance I'd go for the Taurus SHO any day over the Maxima. If you want luxury the Maxima is the way to go. Given a choice between the two cars I'd buy the Taurus because you get almost as much refinement at a substantial discount.
idk y nissan didn't have manual transmission as an option. and i agree, it shouldve been a rwd vehicle. i like the looks and styling but the cvt is such a drag.
