After watching this I have a lot of respect for Lyoto. Just like Rampage he got the controversial decision against Shogun but you can't blame him for winning. There's no reason to have any animosity for a guy who did his best against his opponent. I'm sure if I tried my best like he did I wouldn't want fans feeling like I did something wrong when it was the judges making the decision.

Machida did win the fight... the only reason alot of people think it was wrong because joe was commenting so much on shoguns striking when actually machidas was more affective (ex. when machida would throw a flurry of punches shogun would counter with one leg kick and rogan would be like omg! amazing counter by shogun lol). Even tho Shogun did immobolize machidas movement by the leg kicks, it wasnt enough to win a decision, where as machida rocked him once and landed alot of devestating knees

goddamn didn't know if anyone else felt this way...I also felt that Joe Rogan sort of "mis-sold" the happenings of the fight in Shogun's favor alot. Fact is, I saw Machida tag Shogun first on many of those hits where Shogun countered. Indeed, Machida landed more; Shogun's were (seemed) harder. I kinda of agreed with the decision, since it went to points. Simply, Machida hit almost every time he wanted, just not in spectacular fashion.
