Melinda loves a movie called "Raise the Red Lantern" starring Gong Li. It's set in the 1920s (?) in China, about four wives married to the same man (standard for rich men at the time?), struggling with each other to get control over the household from day to day. The main character is named Songlian, which is pretty, and also easy for us Anglos to pronounce. We named one of our other cats "Zatoichi" after a blind swordsman from Japanese movies.
I always think of this video as "mel behind the veil--the thin veil" from the way the thumbprint picture looks. I've never been to Morocco but I've heard there were women who had the custom of wearing transparent veils.
I love taking Ativan when I need it. Did not make me tired. Hey the Amish are super cool people. But I think that they should be left alone from other socieities. They are the ones that would survive if all us other people lost all out PC's electricity.
(IF)there were going to be a Rob&Mel youtube get together someday in the future. What nearby town or city would be the most fun for people to stay in, close to an airport, decent accomodations?
The Antarctica Hilton would be FAR enough away to help us feel secure from overzealous youtubers. Sorry, Paul, but Melinda just closed her acct because she felt threatened by people who might track her down. Telling our hometown is not the kind of thing that will set her at ease.
Oh Hi again! I forget to tell Songlian that I am pretty sure I tried that Ativan once when I was in the hospital and it was sweeeet! It took the edge right off and I was able to feel calm and sleep like a baby! I'm pretty sure that was the stuff anyway. I only took it once but it was nice as long as Songlian doesn't become addicted. My cats Kiki and Squeaky are already addicted to sleeping and laying around. hehe. Bye for now! :) kristin
Hello, Mel, I am a new subscriber to deidzoeb's channel, but I have followed your YouTube experiences for the last 5 months. I know that your reaction to the things that have been so negative has resulted in us being deprived of learning more about what it means to have paranoid/schizophrenia. I think Rob and you look great. Tell Songhlian that if she is having an anxiety attack, the Ativan will not make her as sleepy as it would if she took it when she was feeling calm.
I take clonazepam and I sometimes use it for a sleeping pill when I can't sleep and need to sleep. I hope you decide to wade in a little deeper back into YouTube.

I just heard a guy named Joe Mackall interviewed on NPR On Point (google that and you will get the On Point Website and then go to the archives for August.) He lived in Ohio with the Schwarztentruber (conservative) Amish and wrote a book. It was really interesting to hear him talk. Mel, it's so nice to see you. Sorry you had some tough days.
