I always found the SNES version far better than the NES, cause it can be much more difficult and challenging. The NES edition gets old quick just scoring 50 point blow outs every single game, while the SNES, you got a real challenge trying to go undefeated during a season.

Erik Mcmillan, me and my friends started out playing this one, I just practice and play seasons on my own playing this one. But me and my friends play seasons and league games on the NES or regular Nintendo version. The Nintendo version does own quite a bit more, but both are pure Tecmo! I like the first three they made the one with 2 run and 2 pass plays was good for Nes, then the 1991 game is the best, and this one (1993) version was pretty good as well.

when a defense guesses right on the play the offense will use, their players speed and hitting power are maxed out for that play. so if they get the ball on a fumble the player's maxed out hitting power is so high compared to anyone on the offense that the players bounce off. the only way to bring them down is through diving.
