  • I will play this son on dec 21th so loud tha the entire city hear it... epic

  • Better than One Winged Angel so far

  • That soundtrack immediately made me think of Final Fantasy Versus XIII, it's really similar to a few that were used in Versus XIII trailers, it perfectly conveys a dark, intense, and grave atmosphere, it's brilliant.

  • @NewEndHero yah, 13-2 really pulled off the dark tone perfectly with the music. i hoping versus does the same.

  • Cie'th, Cie'th everywhere!

  • I absolutely LOVE the cello part around 2:36 :D It's so moving, so flowing; a perfect fit for a FF OST

  • Reminds me of The Fanatics from FFVI for some reason. Fantastic theme.

  • Although they are in no particular order, here are the Latin lyrics (for those wanting to know):

    Dea Mortis, iuravi

    Carissimam servaturum

    Dea Mortis, servabo

    ut tempora recte ducam

    Etsi cor in Chao,

    aut Fortuna bella ferat,

    Occurram et obviam ibo.

  • OMG man... as soon as I heard this song in an immediately doomed city, this immediately jumped to one of my all-time favorite epic Final Fantasy songs.

  • The choir sounds so threatening and epic. I love it!

  • The composers for this game are Masashi Hamauzu (from FFXIII), Naoshi Mizuta and Mitsuto Suzuki. Uematsu probably did do the chocobo themes. Also, this song is one of my favorite tracks in the game!

  • 2:36 is very good...

  • God! Some of this music is so epic that I wish I was in this game! It makes you want to Ruinga the hell out of someone who is trying to rule the world! I would be Commando any chance I get! My mom gets pissed when I play this music on my stereos while I'm doing homework. :D

  • Man this song fitted so well when I was in that city where people were getting turned into Cieth left and right. Man this game's soundtrack is soooo cool!!!!!

  • O yea this song is definitely in the tops!

  • This is so good, and when the orchestral version plays in the credits its amazing!

  • All of Caius's themes are amazing, props to Mizuta!

  • Many composers are on the conception of the original soundtrack!

Uematsu participated in three compositions, notably the three chocobos themes. (Groovy, Rodeo and Crazy!)

Naoshi Mizuta is the principal composer, looking at the soundtrack!

  • epic! <3

  • This song just entered my top 5 favorite FF songs of all time! Just epic all around!

  • it sounds like Uematsu's orchestration. But it's not :P.

  • @Stryker246 actually, it IS Nobuo Uematsu. Look up reviews on the music. He wrote this piece for the game.

  • @Stryker246 actually, I stand corrected. It seems different sites have contrasting opinions on who has actually done what. So, I'm going to say it isn't Nobuo but it's possible it could be. I have no idea haha

  • @deathtoemotion I don't know what sites you've been visiting, but the official soundtrack site says this is composed by Naoshi Mizuta....that's probably a good place to start when looking up this kind of info.

  • @XxKuRoTsUbAsAxX Yeah, I realized I made a mistake and put up another comment if you noticed. But there have been other sites that have posted that it was Nobuo Uematsu. The sites should probably be told. For some reason, when I visited the official soundtrack site, I couldn't see a tracklist with composers.

  • @XxKuRoTsUbAsAxX Mizuta has sure improved dramatically since FF11.
