I need your advice cause i dont really get it when your talking... i Have 3 splitters ( as usual) 1 in yellow 1 in red 1 in white i have a Big RCA cable and the colors im using are (light) Red and White and Blue as my yellow then i took my PS3 cables (that u get with the PS3) and plugged them into the splitters as well and the other side into my PS3 and then took the other side of the RCA cable and put it into the back of my TV in the same colors as the Standard PS3 cables and my quality=Blury!!

@GilbertHibachiArenas because yellow is the video input for a standard defintion VGA output. This only works like this because for some reason when you put your TV on a HD setting it will still give outputs via HD components/normal VGA... so your TV picks up the HD cables frequency, and the dazzle picks up the normal output.

i just got a couple questions if you dont mind, 1. Does this enhance the capture quality in any way or is it just to PLAY in HD(also herd on some tv's u can only go to 480i) 2. Right now my setup is: Xbox S-Video Cables, 2 spare s-video cables, a video amplifier and 2 sets of av for the audio, I Play and Record in S-Video (Which is Great Btw) Do you think your setup is better for playing quality and not recording quality?

@xTOSxDJNY Look at some of my other videos, and you can compare your quality with mine.

Before I got this HD tv, I was running off a normal tube television, and when I recorded it would record as a square (not widescreen). This made the youtube videos I made look really bad, because there was that annoying 1 inch boarder.

Once I finally figured out how to hook my Dazzle up with my HD tv I noticed that it was in fact clearer. (sorry never used S-video cables) Best dazzle quality I've seen.

a regular xbox 360 A/V cable should have Yellow/Red/White inputs on one cable, and then another set of three cables on another prong.

Those are your HD cables, and they should be plugged in how it's stated in the video.

I have it set up just like you. But my TV comes out in bad quality. 480p to be exact. I go to display settings on the xbox and put 1080i and it comes out and it says do you wish to keep these setings and i put yes but then the TV turns off and turns back on and its back to 480p. Please help its like i bought the splitters for nothing.

That is the best quality that you can have with your xbox while attached to a dazzle.

Dazzles are NOT designed for HD-TV's so there will be a drawback.

Your TV should actually be saying its relay rate is at 480i, rather than 480p... because in this setup it is only possible to have an interlaced format broadcast while your xbox is on the 'TV' setting. This is a solution for RECORDING in the highest possible quality for a dazzle, not playing in full 1080p.

@OPproductionzz My apologies it does say 480i. But then there is no way to get the same quality on the tv that im getting on the dazzle. Maybe i have been playing on HD for too long but it looks really bad on my TV when im recording and i just cant play the same. Ive seen other videos that people claim to play on 720p on their TV while recording on standard def on the dazzle. It just didnt work for me.

Hey, I just bought a dazzle today. I'm just wondering, if you can do the same sort of setup, but use a hdmi cable into the back of the TV and the yellow cable into the back of the dazzle, if that makes sense. reasoning for this is I have a ps3 andwill be doing most of my capturing on there :) I guess I would have to have multiple outputs selected for my ps3 but I'm not sure, please could you help :)

Make sure the HD switch on the back of your xbox's side of the A/V is set to TV.

If thats not your problem I am unsure of what your asking, please be more specific.
