The movie industry is just trying to make it more realistic, making it scarier. Bones hobbling around so you can tip them over isnt as scary as the combined fear of 1: catching a deadly virus + 2: 1000's of impervious infectious people in a full sprint at you. The laws of society collapse + disease + unstoppable monsters = scary. Zombies break the monster rule. Most movie monsters have to be found or are a local incident, zombies come for you and are global.

I always thought that if a zombie thing happen, it might be a parasite instead of a virus. A parasite could infect anyone, no one would be safe, there could be some kind, of parasite in places like Africa or South America, or any hot jungle aria.Some even think one killed the Dino's, there are one's that can control their host, what if there's one's around right now that can do that, can turn people into zombie like maniacs? like in 28 days Later, which was a virus, it could happen.

No I have never played Dead Rising, its just and Idea I thought of, I love Zombie movies so I have thought about stuff like that. I think if it did happen, it would be a man made virus, like in 28 Days later oh and Parasites can live in your body all your life without your antibodies doing anything to get rid of it, that's what a tape worm is, and there are many others like them out there too. so a parasite could do it, and who knows it might come from space, it would make a good movie,lol.
