the final score was 3-1 for Internacional De Madrid . . . but the real winners are the survivors of Typhoon Sendong. The game raised 2 Million pesos ( 45,000 USD ) for the benefit of the the displaced survivors of Typhoon Sendong in Mindanao.

CF Madrid officials turned over a cheque for 10000 Euros to the Philippine Red Cross along with Jerseys signed by Cristiano Ronaldo, Iker Casillas and the entire Real Madrid team which will be auctioned off to raise additional donations.

@Bayoniq NONOY ZUNIGA has a very sombre version & maybe in the context of the situation you could be right I feel the Gerry and the Pacemakers version is something of a message of hope & inspiration against the backdrop of the devastation that has left us all so shocked when looking at the images Johnny Cash & Nonoy versions leave me flat when I listen Maybe there is no wrong version just an opinion Anyway as I said great job very well done Listen to Nonoys version at least its sung in key haha

Brilliant. It encapsulates the whole essence of DILI KA NAG-IISA (YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE) and what it means to the World Football Community in times of hardship and sorrow. It is the anthem of all Football Anthems not only Liverpool. Would have been nice to have used the original Gerry and the Pacemakers version

@graeme2809 - thanks for the nice words. I was indeed looking at using Gerry and the Pacemakers originally but the Johnny Cash version has a more somber feel and sound that is more appropriate to the pictures.
