I believe they also changed it to tentacles mostly because instead of being an alien in the Ultimate series, Venom is a creation of science. So technically both webbing and tentacles are the things he does due to the Ultimate series and the original having 2 different plots. And since Sam Raimi seems to like the original more It's safe to say thats why Venom has webbing in the movie...Now why he never said his name, well thats beyond me. But anyways, Wicked video.

But when the ultimate series came they changed that to where he swings with tentacles which was I believe to make it so he acts more like Carnage (because Carnage always did this, even in the old series.)
i've been scanning for videos of this game cos it looks awesome... the venom sequences look fkn sick, but could someone tell me how similar the webslinging in ultimate spiderman is to the webslinging in spiderman 2 (on consoles)?

IN PS2 Venom can jump very high by holding r2 then letting go.I have it.You can be Venom only when you finish the game.
