Out of curiosity, what is the purpose behind the cowboy boot test? how does this test prove itself needed in comparison to the rope tests?

@Cifyra Ancient battlefield? the chinese armies used this saber up until the end of WWII, there is even a song about it, though I do not know the exact name. it was used in hand to hand combat against the japanese.

also, the proper name is a dao, which is roughly translated into sabre.

my grandfather fought in that war and he said his dadao saved his life more than a couple of times
