  • i got a female what will happen if it lay eggs without a male what will i do

  • well iam geting a mac snow probebly at the reptile show this weekend and i have a super giant tangerine

  • can my leopard gecko mate with that one

  • @flippy261 what morph is your male?

  • 2:55

  • Can I get one of the babies

  • @swick55 lol im very far from where you are.

  • you said good thing you caught it what would have happened if you didnt and if that happens how do you get the egg in the nesting box?

  • 2:56 is when the egg comes out!

  • Why did the camera shakeat some random points lol

  • *what a good mama!

  • Wow, what a monumental undertaking! She was probably exhausted for days afterwards, what a

  • very cool mate, respect for caring about your gecko

  • If you shit anything from your penis, you need to get to a doctor or an ER fast!

  • where do u get healthy baby geckos?

  • it's like a vanilla jellybean

  • that's one long ass egg.

  • how do u know if their pregnant?

  • Were you concerned that it didn't use the lay box? Do you have any guesses why it didn't?

  • fuck!! It´s HUGE o_O

  • to save time skip to 2.50 thats when it actually is coming out(: very cute video tho- i loved it!

  • My Gecko is prego and I didn't know what the birth actually looked like. I'm very nervous! I freak out at the sight of the calcium in her excrement. lol. This video DEFINITELY helped a LOT! Thanks!

  • SONIC BOOM! 3:07

  • how many eggs do they lay and how much do these gecko dragons cost

  • @tubedude101 leopard gecko, not gecko dragon

  • She's really pretty

  • if you look theres like pieces of sharp rock for the nice little eggs to land on :D lol

  • @Quarryman20 no those are not rocks they are peaces of vermiculite that is for the eggs vermiculite is very soft and absorbs water for humidity for the eggs so its hundred percent safe lol.

  • @Quarryman20 those rocks r crap dude

  • @AmPibros again its not rock or crap dude its vermiculite for the eggs so she scattered them every where.

  • half the video is just labor lol

  • @thelegoman2511 You might have to give the female a break she might get exhausted from getting mated bye the male all the time just to give her a rest.

  • at 3:35 she seems to be trying to hide it with grass and stuff, using her legs. That's what crocs do in the wild, and probably these geckos do it too. I learned something today!

  • Did anyone else hear that little popping noise when it came out? Hahahahaha

  • hey when they lay the egg in the tank do u take it right out or what? and also do u have to have a incubator or would they just lay on the eggs like a bbird lol

  • y is the tail so big?

  • its like shitting out and ancor from your penis

  • looks like shes about to malt her skin aswell how stressful

  • congrats its a boy!

  • if i have a first time breeder how many u think she will lay ?

  • @youngcrestie well if you follow the feeding nutrition instructions and making sure the male and the female is the right weight also lots and lots of calcium in there diet one mating will fertilize a clutch of two every two weeks

  • @youngcrestie well if you follow the feeding nutrition instructions and making sure the male and the female is the right weight also lots and lots of calcium in there diet one mating will fertilize a clutch of two every two weeks so through the spring and summer she will lay around eight to sixteen eggs. The recommended age for females is one years old and stop at five years old,and males should be around eleven months to one years old.

  • @youngcrestie First Time breeder will produce around one or two eggs per clutch and around age one to four females will lay 8 to 16 after one mating so after she lays her eggs make sure you give her variety of prey with lots of calcium.

  • 3:10 auuuhhhh what a relief hahaha

  • 2:55

  • that looks very painful for a gecko that size the egg looks nearly half the size of her :O!!! ive got a male gecko n in july hopefully getting a female for them to breed :D.xoxo

  • how does it only lay two every two weeks after mating i dont get it then how can they lay 16+

  • @Chihuahualalaland well number one the male mates the female and one mating will fertilize depending on the age around 8 to 16 clutches, so The female will lay a clutch of two every two weeks during the spring and summer seasons.

  • @chiclids ok if the temps in the cage are about 90 on hot side and 78 on the cool side and every temperature inbetween, but it is winter, will they still lay eggs

  • cool!

  • how many eggs did she lay?

  • @dish138 she laid two eggs leopard gecko can lay two every two weeks after mating.

  • PUSH! PUSH! PUSH!

  • Wow!That is one huge egg!Good thing she wasn't egg bound =)

  • that egg was big

  • my gecko looks like she's about to lay eggs.... do any of you guys think that sand stuck to her vaginus will mess her up?

  • did she mate with somthing

  • hi there, i recently incubated 2 leopard gecko eggs.. i was wandering if you know how long they last in a tank before they dehydrate... because i left my house yesterday(monday), and came back home today(tuesday), the eggs could have been layed for up to 22 hours since i wasnt at home, they were layed in a damp box, and very well covered, any idea if they could still be fertile? thanks

  • Coolcoolcool

  • lol what the hell lol

  • Hey great vid but I got a Question Do the female turn the eggs after she is done laying

  • @HeidiSurette24 yes she dose turn them over to barres them and the eggs can rotate for twenty four hours before they can't be rotated any more cause the embryo will drown.

  • @chiclids

Thanks I was a little worried so thank you

  • @HeidiSurette24 No Problem lol

  • cool vid, im hoping to breed my 2 year old raptor gecko soon...check my vid

  • I don't mean to sound ignorant, i just came across this video. Is a leopard gecko's tale normally that big? And how many eggs in one cluth <-(is that only a snake term?)

  • @englishpros its not ignorant at all her tale is in perfectly healthy shape and that's how they store there water and fat, she weighed 57 grams and after laying those eggs she weighs 45 grams and depending of her age she will lay 8 to 16 clutches of two every two weeks after mating.

  • @chiclids wait so if my gecko mated, then she will lay every two weeks?

  • @NINTENDOGAL7 it depends on how you give her lots of calcium and vitamin supplements and variety of pray and then she will lay a clutch of two every two weeks.

  • @chiclids how long will it take 4 her to have all her eggs and most of all how many will she have

  • @Shadyman55 it takes all most a month to lay a full clutches of eggs one mating fertilizes eight to sixteen clutches and she lays two eggs per clutch.

  • @englishpros all geckos should have nice big fat tails, its where they store fat and in the wild predators go for the tail and it comes off. my raptor has a big plump tail

  • first whats up with all the shit? l2clean the cage?

and second i would feel violated if i was vided laying an egg

  • @dnth8sk8rs wooooooowooooo first of all she is in goood care and she did not use the egg laying box cause the male is in it. And sacond of all those things you see on the floor is vermiculate and the cage is clean. She is in perfect shape so watch what you say dude she is my best friend i would never miss treat her like that.

  • ouch! ouch! ouch! ouch! ouch! ouch! oooooooh make it stop!!!!

  • after they breed how long those it take for her to lay the eggs

  • eww lol, im expecting baby blizzards soon but eww!!

  • @Br0k3nGL4ZZ LOL i guess its a little too disturbing for you lol My baby gecko just hatched on the fifteenth of may its a TCT split Regular.

  • @chiclids gratz lol. and yes its hard for me to watch stuff like this even if its going to happen to my geckos soon enough

  • @chiclids

Oh did he awwww so cute

  • oh cool

  • ur girl layed egg 3 days ago? =D very funny for me =D

  • how many eggs do they lay

  • @TnJReptiles22 they can lay two eggs per clutch every two weeks and they can lay from eight to sixteen clutches from one mating depending on there age.

  • @chiclids Only 2? No more than 2?

  • @Travianmaster234 yes only 2 per clutch no more then 2.

  • i have them in a hovabator set at 81.2 the eggs are sitting in hatchright in a dixy cut 1 pin hole in the side ,,,

  • @bubbabross86 perfect your doing it right now just wait to see how it goes, best of luck ;)

  • how long after she lays befor she canget preg agin?please respond my girl just layed 3 days ago !!

  • @bubbabross86 it takes two weeks for her to be pregnant again after laying her eggs and what do you have your eggs in?

  • hol long is she preg for befor she lays and how many min befor i put them in a incubator and do i have to rotate the eggs how often ?

    thanks and god bless.

  • @bubbabross86 It takes about two weeks before she is ready to lay her eggs, the eggs can last for twenty four hours until you can't rotate them anymore and well i usually put the eggs in the incubator right away so they don't get too cold.

  • whoa. thats cool.

  • omg at 30:29

  • what is the percentage to have a pregnent female for the first time do lay a firtile egg

  • sorry i don't understand what you mean.

  • ok now i understand what you mean it depends sometimes first time pregnant female will produce fertile eggs but some fertile eggs don't make it some do. My female gecko you see here it took three tries until my first two hatched.

  • how many eggs did she lay? just two or more?

  • she lays two every two weeks.

  • @chiclids hmmm mine is gravid with 1 egg atm so i can breed her agai n after she sheds after laying or what?

  • give here a couple of day to recover and feed her a lot of food and calcium, then you can breed her again.

  • that gecko lays two eggs in 2 weeks?

  • awesomeh

  • wow that was amazing i never seen mine just in the lay box....

  • Amazing!!!

  • i thought the point of having that box is so that the leo would lay her eggs in it lol.

  • ya lol the problem is the male is in the box and she doesn't feel comfortable using the box when the male is in there. So it kind of ruin the moment.

  • cute new gecko. Check out my vids of my leopard geckos Sub if you like :)

  • how do u make a incubator for the gecko and does a female lay its eggs and does the male have to put put some thing on the eggs

  • well i don't know how to make an incubator but i just bought a hova bator i just make sure that my temperature is correct and no the male doesn't do anything to the eggs just the female lays her egg and barres them.

  • looks very painful

  • @ reptilesforlife shut your mouth just cause i spellt it wrong

  • @TheDoakes12 true.

  • must be painful!

  • do you have enough poop in there

  • those are not droppings those are peaces of vermiculite from my egg laying box she dug some out so its pretty messy.

  • ooo i c

  • THATS cOOL nice eggs

  • how long till they lay eggs?

  • about two to three weeks.

  • well i have had my geckos a year not and they both havent grown explain that for me i feed them well one is a boy one is a girl

  • it depends on there surroundings and the male can grow about ten to twelve inches long and females grow six to eight inches long. But when you mean by feeding them well what kind of food do you offer to your geckos also it depends on dominance males can be very dominant to the females.

  • crickets they wont eat millworms and if they have calcium powder on they wont eat it

  • hmmm ok not good that's why they are not growing enough they need calcium for there bone growth and veriaty of pray and also the live pray needs to be gut loaded for nutrition and check for expired date on your calcium powder cause if expired will taste very bitter. Still try to offer meal worms first before crickets. Mine eats everything i offer.

  • well they just wont eat mill worms

  • don't worry never give up keep trying and im sure they will eat it but i some time rub the meal worms against there mouth to provoke them to eat it. It just takes some time before they start liking it.

  • ok and the male one is quite small i have had him a year

  • there called mealworms and if you dont know that you shouldnt have a leopard gecko

  • nice gecko!

i was just in my room and my female was digging a hole in her egg laying box

shes been pregnant for about two weeksd and i think tonite mite be the nite i get mr very first eggs!

  • nice gecko

  • thank you she is a common albino leo she successfully laid her eggs and i hatched them successfully.

  • Guys i need some help, i want to get some leopard geckos and start breeding them. Whats the standard starting gear.

  • hey hows it going well the best way is to start is to get one male leopard gecko and get to know how to maintain him the first thing is to start with a ten or a twenty gallon tank and a heat pad under the tank ,green carpet a metal tank lid and a heat lamp and red heat bulb. Also make sure he had a calcium powder dish and water dish and you can put decoration in his home.when you get the hang of it then you can get two females in a separate enclosure.

  • amazing!

  • i saw a leopard gecko laying an egg at petsmart, and then i asked if i could keep it, and they said that they were just gonna throw it away

  • wow sick people. ruining the poor little guy's life. throwing away a baby leo is abortion. RIP little guy

  • they didnt throw it away they were going to

  • @rhinogek uh for your information i did take care of that egg but the egg was infertile and my female is in great shape she is my baby i would never ever take advantage of my leopard gecko's like that and also she didn't use the egg laying box because my male leo was in it so she laid it out of her box so be careful what you say and don't judge a book by it's cover. I'm totally against people mistreating there animals too.

  • @chiclids, it sucks when the eggs are infertile too

  • lol giant tic tac

  • "hey..howd this tic tac get in here *pics up and eats* omg..that was an egg.."

  • yes u can breed (TheAKIMBO7236) u were able to start when he was 2 years old =D

  • can someone help me my leopard gecko is 3 years old and only 6 inches long is she a dwarf or what, becuase i want to breed her

  • hello there, well it depends on how much she weighs if you have a food scale to weigh her and how much calcium you give her and well six inches is not dwarfed they can be about six to seven inches females and ten to one foot males so she can breed. But make sure to give her variety of food not just one kind of food. best of luck.

  • like do you know when a leopard gecko is pregnant when she gets really fat for no reason??

  • to tell when a leopard is pregnant by looking under the belly and you will see two white bulges on both sides and if the leo is fat you won't see the two eggs on both side. Also if you have a scale the female would be more heavier if she is pregnant.

  • hey do they need a male?

coz the other type of gecko i was looking at didnt need a male

  • hmm interesting never heard a gecko that don't need males that must be a rare gecko that can just produce a fertilized eggs without males. ya leopard geckos females do need males to fertilize there eggs.

  • Hi xarbak11. I was just wondering which type of gecko doesn't need a male?

  • Mourning Gecko (Lepidodactylus lugubris) is the only a-sexual gecko I know of. its from French Polynesia.

  • i have a baby gecko i just got blaze and i want to know whay he is sheding all the time is it because he is a baby

  • it's normal baby leos shed more often then adults so not to worry its just growing healthy. when your gecko gets older it will shed less.

  • is there a way to have a male and a female in the same tank without separating them all the time

  • well its OK to have them together but the problem of having a male and female together is the male will keep pestering the female to mate and she is not interested cause she is already pregnant and when she's about to lay she want privacy in the egg laying box but the male is always in the way.

  • how do i get my leo male to breed with my females? i put them together but he might be gay because nothing happens EVER

  • leave him in there for a good day. then take him out and check your females 3 weeks later to see if they are gravid

  • Comment removed

  • you need to brumate them over the winter-reduce the heat they all get and keep their lamp on for just 4 hours a day. dust their food year round with calcium dust and give adults pinky mice every 2 weeks before and after hibernation. during hibernation feed them only crickets-3 per gecko once a week. give them all a rest n seperate them after breeding.

  • how old are they all

  • my albino female Cleesha is one year in a half my male cheech one in a half and my other tangerine carrot tail Female Sasha is one years old and treeko my blizzard female is nine months old.

  • ok. they all all the right age.

so you have 3 female's and 1 male.

    how big is your viv?

  • I don't have a viv but i do have my 1 male separated in a twenty gallon terrarium and two of my females which is cleesha and sasha are both in a twenty gallon terrarium and treeko my youngest female is in a five gallon terrarium for now and my babies are in a ten gallon terrarium.

  • @blondie1490 how much do your male and females weigh? sexual maturity is about 40 grams wich should only take less than a year to achieve. or, the females may simply not want to mate due to them not thinking its spring, try to simulate seasons by reducing daylight for a few months (winter) and then try 1 month of spring about 14 hours of daylight also, try to keep males/ females seperated until the (spring) season.

  • @blondie1490 you sure there male and female you could have two females

  • @jarqu14 yes I'm sure i have one male and four females but they are suppurated.

  • @chiclids not you lol im talking to blondie1490

  • @jarqu14 oh lol right sorry i thought you are talking to me.

  • @blondie1490 the male usually mounts the female lol

  • Awesome! See you next time I'm in for my Sasha.
