I just dont know what it'll take for this realisation to hit the global community. I think part of the reason people are not being responsive is also the 'fear' and grim future that is often painted by environmentalists. More attractive alternative ways need to be developed and constantly presented and written in textbooks, articles, and magazines. Painting a hopeful, attainable future might do well do bring people on board who are currently alienated by the hopelessness of the situation!
