@shironbo7441 Oh please. In the USA, it is not difficult to find a job if you have a degree. The reason foreigners travel to Japan, put up with a bunch of BS, and settle with earning half of what they could in their own country, is because they want to to visit and experience a different country and/or because they love teaching.
@shironbo7441 確かに不適格教員が多いですが、素晴らしい先生もいます。シロンボの気持ち分かるですけど違う観点を取り入れてください。I think your view point is skewed. You only have experience with foreigners who are one way. You need to meet other foreigners who are living the way they should in Japan, with respect.
@shironbo7441 Oh man you did a fine job of making yourself look like an ignorant and racist idiot. Thankfully most of your fellow countrymen are nothing like you. No one group of people is the same..everyone is different. Didn't you learn that in elementary school? I almost feel bad for you if your view of the world is this messed up. あ、それとも、教師の面教があると日本語が書けると読めると話せるで。俺の学校の生徒達が俺のことが好き。Not all foreigners are bad people. 馬鹿。
@shironbo7441 Why is "native" in quotation marks? If someone's L1 is English, he or she absolutely, unquestionably, is a native speaker. I hope that you come to see foreigners more positively. While I understand that you may find the more immature, irresponsible ALTs and foreigners frustrating, we are not a monolith. I had a job in the US, but I wanted to see more of Japan and wanted to share my love of languages with Japanese students, so I put great effort into getting a position here.
@shironbo7441 Furthermore, I work hard to understand our cultural differences. There are things I think Japan does better, and there are things I think the US does better. I don't believe one is superior to the other, and I certainly don't have any anti-Japanese sentiment. Nearly every 外国人 I know is here because they respect and enjoy Japan, and because they are qualified.
Also, calling an entire group of people "barbarians" is extremely racially prejudiced. Please reflect on your hatred.
I'm going to apply for JET in september ( ^ - ^ ) but it's good to have options !!! thank you Papa ♡ (euuuh what was that first option ? I would like to search it on the internet)
how good is your japanese language skill? just wondering..
i'll try JET after college which im gonna study Japanese major for 4 years in, and if i dont get in then i dunno..marriage? lol joking thats a bad way to get a visa

for example, the infamous mad party "Yamanote Halloween".
It's common knowledge that the loser English teachers group carried out annoying attacks.
So,our society will treat you as if "teachers" Gaijin are disposable objects.
that's right.
Most of Japanese peoples have not good image to English teachers..
you should know that.
shironbo7441 1 year ago
Um,,"native" English teachers.
I can tell you,we Japanese are fed up with this kind of Gaijin.
These "teachers" has failed to find a job in own country
and had no choice but had to come to japan as a "native" English teacher.
so-called "Loser".
Yes,Japan is overflowing with "Loser-Gaijin ルーザー害人".
and, surprisingly many English "teachers" have a mistaken sense of superiority that can push Japanese peoples.
they have a strong anti-Japan sentiment.

Sorry folks,On May 21,the screening process so-called 事業仕分け order a review of jet programme as part of administrative reform.
check google 'shiwake result B-36'.
That means, yes, japan has decided to give up the jet programme because it's wasteful expenditure.
we'll see the end of the jet programme in not-so-distant future.
you had better find another job in own country.

@getoutofmyband I copy-pasted this from the Montreal consulate's website but as you said, there are many other countries who can apply for W&H visa.

For the Working Holiday visa you only need to have completed high school, not college. :) Thanks for the video! Very informative!
