Minnie REALLY is cute! So sorry for your loss. My life is a lot like your's... and my best friend was my Mini Schnauzer. She saw me through so much heartache. I lost her a few years ago... at age 15. The hardest thing I've ever had to do :(

I have never been in New York. Yesterday I had a quick look at some videos of Long Island Beaches. There is something to do out there! Would it be an alternative for you to walk a bit in the sand (barefoot), just for a change with the bike. By getting on the subway from 5th ave station it takes 23min to be in Long Island City. (lines N +7).Maybe not to too far afterwards to get to the beach?

I lost my "it was" person and our daughter years ago. My daughter will soon be 13, but I havent seen her since about only 1 year old. Please say a prayer for her.
