  • I heard that AC/DC didnt tell Downkoad that they werent brining there own stage, so they showed up with a bunch of lorries and a crane. It was an epic night

  • I miss this weekend, if I have a near death experience I just want to relive this year at download.

  • Imagine being so fuckin' rich that you can afford to bring in your own stage to download festival. AC/DC doesn't have to imagine!

  • @TheDavidMac90 if you were there you'd understand it was a long wait, well worth it though.

  • I was there. 3 people (row whatever) from the front, but nearly got crushed so had to get pulled out... left of the ego stage...

  • all i see are arms shaking

  • @ninjaCAKEies Left =[ I'm sure I'll have seen you around at Download anyhow! =p are you going this year? =p

  • i was there and it was fantastic, thanks for recording this. i'm hoping they play again at donnington i'll be there. well worth the long trip and money

  • ... im so sad brian's hurricane-voice has given out so much over the years.

  • ohh yeahh that iphone held up in the bottom right is me haha xD

  • his voice changed a bit but i still love them

  • I popped a classic rock boner when this started

  • i rekon they will, 1 of my mates said that they mite be performin again here in 2013!!!!!

  • @ConnorLerrdd hope we live through 2012

  • @ConnorLerrdd i dont think they will because apparently brian is retiring somepoint in 2011 and they mite be doing a 20 day farewell world tour to brian

  • @2210angus Brian retiring? haha no i don't think so

AC/DC Retirement = Death. then again, that didn't work the last time did it?

  • Hope they go download again There so fricking amazing live

  • my dad is in this song near where the person filming is filming

  • I was ther near the front, not having been an ACDC fan previously. Afterwards, I was. It was EPIC.

  • @ninjaCAKEies me too bud!! right or left hand side?

  • Comment removed

  • Hahahaha! Poor Brian , is he spitting out field mice or is he trying to sing LLOOLL !

  • i was there n i think that song was fucking amazing to witness :D enjoyed every second of it :D

  • i only went to downlad 2010 to see the these guys. AC/DC is the best band ever! 80's rock owns modern crap

  • @BRAVOTWOZEROSAS

nice to know your so open minded

  • @cyborgsatan hahaa ;D

  • 1:22 whole lotta rosies next to you! ;)

  • Was anyone else annoyed how the camera focused on the guitar was out of focus? you dont notice on this video but if you were there you would

  • they'0re tuned half step down

  • haha day time performence? WTF thats just shit

when ACDC played in Perth (Hometown) they just rocked and went the hardest they could go

    RIP bon Scott

  • This is a good video :D thanks for posting dude

I was fucking THERE!! me and my friend Kris (guy wandering round in a black Morph suit) were right at the front, to the left of the sticky out bit haha. seriously maybe 20 feet from the stage... awesome fucking night! wow!!!!!!!

  • .... we brits rock.... FACT

  • @1959child thats nice because AC|DC are Australian.

  • @BenAnsell9 ..lol.... i meant the crowd..

  • @BenAnsell9 Not entirely. The front man is from the UK.

  • @Evilrex500 Meh you get what I meant :p

  • @BenAnsell9 Angus was born in Scotland, Brian was born in England. So the statement "We Brits rock" is very true.

  • @BenAnsell9 angus young was born in scotland! noob

  • i was 15 yards from the front and it was absolutrly mayhem. wooooooooooooooooooo

  • I'm the dude with the phone omg

  • man, when was the last time ac/dc played at donington park, like for monsters of rock, awsome, wish i was there

  • they have a dvd of their tour in america but dont think it was as good as this

  • What would really be cool is if they had filmed this for ANOTHER DVD release!

  • Rock aint what it used to be :(. Half the crowd filming instead of enjoying the moment ,singing and jumping like the concert in 1991. Would be cool if everyone in the crowd held a camera so they realized how stupid it looks.

  • @bilaboja22 I agree with you, when half the crowd is filming it does seem kinda pointless but I'm pretty sure if video cameras were more portable and cheaper in 91 people would have been filming. I never film things at gigs because i know there will always be someone else that has filmed it.

  • damn its too bad we all gotta get old. brians vocals might be losin it but they could stand in front of a crowd and do nothing for 2 and half hours and people would still brag about how they got to see AC/DC on the stage. ROCK ON AC/DC

  • i went to download and ac/dc were epic :) i also likes BFMV and RATM

  • Rage owned Download

  • Saw this AMAZING band in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada last Auagust. They are the greatest band to ever have lived and it was the best night of my life. Wish I coulda seen em at Download though... At least I still saw em!

  • Anyone know the tracklist? I'll be in the concert of 26th

  • Me and my missus were lucky enough to be at Download this year. We were stood more to the centre but as far back as this shot, it was brilliant . Two hours of pure ACDC pleasure!!!!! the blow up Rosie was fantastic:-))))))))))))))))))

  • Maybe cos in Kansas it dont have the feel of Donnington??? You just have the most amazing atmosphere here x

  • i was at the Download Festival

  • i should have gone to see them instead of sitting around drinking cider :'(

  • what's so great about it is the size of the crowd. Many of us feeling post download views will come home and want to seek out the videos of the best songs from the weekend. Watching a better quality video from another gig isn't the same!

  • @SDUK72 whats RA?

  • @wickedcurve It's because this was filmed at Donnington Park, where AC/DC had one of their most famous concerts in 1991 and many thought they would not play there again. So it was a huge concert for the rock world.

  • @TimmyHowles Ok, well like I mentioned within my post, "other than the location it was shot (why was it so great?)".

  • @wickedcurve Geez it's only a video, I don't control how many views it gets, that's for everyone else to decide. It may not be as good as yours, I don't care, they are just fan filmed videos at the end of the day from wherever they were able to stand/sit at the concert, to give people who didn't go an idea of what it was like, or to make people who did remember how much they enjoyed themselves, or didn't. Get over it, stop taking it so seriously & watch some better videos if you dislike mine.

  • @MorningGlory1995 I never stated I "disliked" your video. I asked the question why there were so many views to a video that was posted a week ago and wasn't as good a quaility as mine. In response to my initial comment @TimmyHowles replied stating how it was at Donnington and how no one ever thought they would play there again. I acknowledged it in my initial comment, "what's so great about it other than the location it was shot". My comment was just an observation/question.

  • And its fucking DOWNLOAD!!

  • @MorningGlory1995 So true :) and mate i was like right next too you :D

  • @MorningGlory1995 i would have thought its coz its ac/dc playing thunderstruck at donington festival........ not just any gig is it....... i was there it was awsome....... thanks for the upload.

  • @wickedcurve it could be that ACDC at this particular concert had like 80,000-100,000! so dont be sad! A festival will beat any stadium gig .

  • @wickedcurve Thats Because the date at Kansas was just another date in the tour like paris, spain, argentina, even here in mexico but this video is special because is the return of AC/DC to the Donnington Fest, the last time they went to the Donington fest was like mmm 15 years maybe more thats why is special greets from Mexico : D

  • @wickedcurve its donnington first of all, not kansas city. its probably because of the significance of the show and the anniversary of back in black.

  • @wickedcurve who gives a fuck?

  • @wickedcurve Hahah, video jealousy? Just relax and enjoy the DC goodness man!

  • @wickedcurve download is a massive festival wiv thousonds and thousands of people and most of them couldnt see ac/dc cuz of the amount of people stood in the way so why not watch it online aswell as beeing there

  • @wickedcurve or because its donnington

  • @wickedcurve Probs because they probs arnt interested in where yours was shot. Like 100,000 people went to download. They won't be interested in your video if they saw them at download

  • @wickedcurve I dont give a fuck about some video shot in Kansas i was at download festival and that is what i wanna see and i bet most ppl that watch this video were in the crowd as well. Wanker!

  • @MadTrippr such harshness and all I actually did was simply ask a question...<shrug>

  • @MadTrippr Wow, what a shitty attitude you have. Wanker.

  • @wickedcurve

Its only a video, who cares.

  • @Kozzy06 once again like I mentioned (already), I simply asked a question as to 'why'; I was answered (already) over a week ago...

  • @wickedcurve It's cause it was at Kansas City..

  • @MysteryWithin thank you for your answer (have I already mentioned this?) LOL!

  • @wickedcurve its donnington where one of the best concerts ever was filmed with 27 different camera angles in 1991. can you guess which band it was? yea AC/DC. of course people are gonna look up AC/DC at donnington a lot more than shitty Kansas City no offense

  • @rockerdude253 thanks for your reply and yes, I was already told the same thing as you wrote the first time someone replied to me... :-)

  • @wickedcurve anyone got a tissue for this fella?

  • @rlta04 thanks....I need some,...can anyone please upload some tissue for me? (LOL!)

  • @wickedcurve "waa waa waa"... seriously, that's all i heard.. Get over it.

  • @ThePurgatoryfire there was never something to get over, I asked a question, got an answer (the first time), and that's it, BUT there are some people who seem to think they have to keep on keepin' on...LOL!

  • @wickedcurve :P

  • @ThePurgatoryfire ^5's! Hey, by the way, not sure if you like RUSH, but I shot some great video at a show on 7/1....

  • @wickedcurve oh dude, i love f***ing love rush! Fantastic classic prog... although i think it's sort of diverged from thunderstruck a bit!

  • @ThePurgatoryfire go check'em out.....

  • @wickedcurve mabey because there were 110,000 people watching this show?

  • @wickedcurve It's because last year at Download they proffessionally recorded most of the performances, this year however because of the lack of ticket sales, they did'nt want to stream the performances onto the website so that people would go out and buy a ticket instead. Therefore people like me, who went to download, have to rely on fan videos to watch the performances as it was'nt proffessionally recorded.

  • @SRWW09 had nothin to do with ticket sales. just acdc didnt want it streaming live, just like rage didnt. there was 110,000 people there biggest festival apart from glastonbury.

  • @wickedcurve someones a view counting whore........seriously never seen someone more in my life want views for a damn video.

  • @wickedcurve i reckon because its AC/DC revisiting Donington since 1992

  • @sweet150 was 91 m8 ;)

  • @wickedcurve I am replying to my own message so maybe others will see it. When I first asked the above, my question was answered adequately within the first couple of times yet some of you still feel the need to prolong it....LOL! Rock ON \m/

  • @wickedcurve yeah, youre just a hater dude, chill! this is not a contest! DO YOU GET PAID FOR YOUR VIEWS? if not, then just shut up and enjoy...

  • @wickedcurve probably because this video is at a very popular festival.

  • @SDUK72 whats ra dude?

  • i was there it was amazing

  • i was there my face actualy melted

  • Why do they never chant Brian Brian Brian or the drummers name, I was there BTW!

  • i see my head lol

  • Nice concert of a arm

  • THUNDER!

  • such a good weekend where was u stod, i was just to the side of the right camra man

  • beyond awesome. i am smashed to peices. my knee is done for. my ribs are cracked and it hurts to breathe. im going to be seeing a lot of my physio over the next year i think. I DONT CARE. not for a second. i will carry my limp with pride. ACDC greatest rock act in the buisiness without a shadow of a doubt. blew eveything else off the field, never mind the stage. i got all the way to the rail, just to the left of the cat walk. apologies to anyone i stepped on, getting there, but what can i say!?X

  • i wish they had streamed this

  • @Hedukfan23 then they dont get money :P

  • @Hedukfan23

I wish ACDC would record a new live dvd

  • @Julebrus666 Brian said they'll be putting out either a live album or dvd of the Black Ice tour.

  • @Julebrus666 they had cameras, at download. no reason why they woudent be recording...... ^^

  • @Julebrus666 Word is they already have! Apparently It's from the Buenos Aires, Argentina concerts.

  • Down the front it was amazing! Absolutely out of control for the best part of 2 hours being crushed and moshing circle pits at 1 time - great fun! I guess it all depends where u are? Great gig tho no matter what the people around u are doing - If you are having fun have fun and f@ck the rest!

  • u got me in the vid!

  • Man you must have been real close to where I was standing. I was about the same distance away slightly to that side.

  • smitt - there wasn't much rocking going on either. Absolute shit crowd. You've got to admit that.

  • @Kamakhaze i was there just in front of the left screen it was rocking where i was.

  • Class performance... Pity the crowd was shit.

  • Performance was excellent but crowd was brutal. No pyramids, no body surfing no moshing. And I thought the English knew how to rock?? Punchestown last year was much better for atmosphere.

  • youi dont mosh to a quality act like ac/dc you sing and rock with them

  • @smitt1974 yea for real... If I had a choice to have seen them at donington in 2010 or '91.. it'd be '91 anyday. everyone there appreciated what was happening.. these people are fucking boring

  • @unlimited00 ur a masive wanker tho

  • @unlimited00 not fair, I was giving it hammer where I was. Although I will admit I was about the only one around me who was. I was getting funny looks. :-|

  • @benchamp well i have to kinda re-word it... 99 percent of the people were boring. when i saw them in philadelphia october 21, 2009 (never going to forget it) and i was going ape shit just like you were.. and for sure... i was getting looks. but i was tanked and having the time of my life. im sure if you had the choice... you would have been there in 91 instead if you could

  • @unlimited00 if I was my age back then, for sure. If not I'd probably take this as I was only 4 or 5 back then haha.

I wouldn't have wanted to miss this though because I don't think there are going to be many more opportunities to see them sadly, I've heard rumours they're thinking of retiring.

  • what song did they open with?

  • Seem them live at Hampden park in Glasgow seems you lucky people at Download got the full AC/DC experience as well, welcome to the club of enjoying true rock n roll legends!!!

  • @memnoch666 Hampden was incredible .As was download .

  • im so jelous, why are my exams this week :/

  • By far the best performance of the day, and it'll probably beat every performance this year.

  • is there gonna be a DVD of this show?

  • @laza023zr probably note... the vocalist's voice has gotten too bad for them to try to sell it on a dvd.

  • @snapascrew as bad as your spelling maybe....rock on dc

  • @infacta1 There is a difference between a typo and not knowing how to spell.

  • Was Awesome!!!!!!

  • you fucking lucky motherfucker, i would have killed to have seen this.
