It is wonderful there are no dislikes to this vid. Well, it probably is just because only one who searches for it would find it. But that is one of it's many beauties, do you agree?
IF only Elliott Smith were still alive, Him Conor and Jake Bellows( of neva dinova) would make a vicious combination of very similar songwriters. I guess I have to settle for Jim James and M Ward.....not too bad but not a thing like if the ones above collaborated. It would be like the most uplifting depressing music ever. This songs a stand out on this CD, its a smooth listen.
@hotpinkmullet well thats a drag, theyre both pretty good. More so leaning towards Elliot Smith, M Ward, to me, is cool because he teams up with conor. Most of his stuff that he does on his own Im not too big into. But ES was the man!
OMG that noise at like 15 seconds to like 20 seconds in the backround its like wooo weree waaaa and its i nthe backround i most of the song, i no its from another song, its from like the beggining of another song and its frustrating me so much i cant think of what it is.!!!!!!!!!!!! SOME ONE PLEASE MESSAGE ME IT IF YOU NO!!
Bought this album in Dublin in 05...remember listening to it on my bose player on a dobule decker bus....So excited that there is a re-release....Conor O is so unconventional
my boyfriend bought it somewhere in los angeles. i'm not sure how common it is on record, but it's a white split ep called "one jug of wine, two vessels". i'm sure if you search on ebay or somewhere like that, you'll be able to find it.
@MsEmmazing Wrong? Please. It's my own personal view of the song.. and I'm not talking about country music in the typical sense, per Garth Brooks or Toby Keith, I'm talking about how it evokes the slow pace of country life, day by day, with that irresistible guitar intro and how swiftly that old-time banjo comes in. Not to mention the wailing pedal steel, reminding me of some good back porch chatter. So you might want to ask before you assume the meaning behind something another person says.
Waiting for what?

One of my favorite songs.
The entire song is put together so well. So beautifully. It hurts my heart to listen to it.

the melody of this song reminds me a lot of unlucky stuntman by bad astronaut.
