Just arrived back from Glasto and brilliant entertainment from The Wurzles! They had a record crowd of 20,000 people rocking within seconds of opening. Something that the headliners on Pyramid stage on Friday night - 'Gorillaz' - didn't manage to do! True entertainment , boys! Buy the single and get them back in the charts, I say.

I heard BBC 6MUSIC's Glastonbury coverage play a tighter version of this Kaiser/Wurzel's 'Ruby' track on Sunday 28 June. On that version the musicians sounded more like session players. Maybe it was the Wurzels playing WITH the Kaisers. Anybody know?

Pete and the boys have done great keeping it going, Adge' though would never have done covers, the whole reason he started the Wurzels was to write Original west country songs we could sing with pride and identity.
