@ZackIAm3200 these X on as you said all frets are ghost notes; you don't play a note with your left hand, you only pick with your right hand, so you get a mute sound which comes from your left hand by holding your fingers slight over the fret (hope you understand otherwise just try to watch some lessons about ghost notes) and the x in the middle of a chord means that you don't play this string where the x is notated -> it's muted, you only play the other (in this case) two notes ;)
