i know the fealing i lost my best frined. she was 15 years old a drunk drive drove on the ide walk hitting her at 75 miles an hour. she died in the hospital. she was with loved ones but that doe not change what happened. the hit and runner was caught the next day and sentinced to life. the sickest part was he lauphed at her family in court a the police took him to the perison. i miss jessica everyday and so does her family. im sorry for your loss.
A friend of mine almost drank and drove once. Luckily I was still sober enough to realise what was happening. He FOUGHT to get to his car, and insisted he was OK. I beat him until he was out cold and dragged him the whole 5 miles back to his place. When I told him what happened the next morning, he thanked me. More so when he found out there was a collision on his route around that time as well.
This was my beautiful daughter, and I miss her every second of every day. The killer will be sentenced to 5 - 20 years, most likely something in between. She will probably serve 1/6 of it for good behavior. That means that if the judge gives the midpoint and assigns 10 years for this crime, she will go to jail for 20 months.
Help me raise awareness that Arkansas' laws are outdated and biased toward the criminals. There is no justice in less than a month for every year of Kathy's life.

Just wanted to repost that I was heartbroken when I heard that Kathy passed away. I still remember the first time I met Chuck and Kathy in the Grapes of Wrath. It was after a rehearsal one day and they were so great. I spent most of my time at University of Arkansas feeling a bit out of place, but Chuck and Kathy had that ability to make you feel like you belonged. They gave me a ride and I remember having to cram into the back of their car. All 6'2" of me. She will be missed.
