@holyman668 is your difficulty set at a high lvl maybe ur bow was suckish or not in good condition maybe ur arrows suck or he could have been a hard to kill high lvl character. i personally play on a very easy difficulty when i play as my archer character so i can have 1 shot K.O and not worry to much about the amount of arrows i have and to not worry about blowing my cover if i hit a guy while in sneak and he is still alive to alert the others.

@holyman668 the realism fails unless you have Deadly Reflex mod. for PC. otherwise, it's only headshot if it one hit kills. iron bow and arrows at level 20 is not a one hit kill.

@holyman668 The way it works is if your shot hits the target's head but does not do enough damage to kill it then the arrow instead diverts into his chest. Because they figured it would be too unrealistic looking to have a guy with 7 arrows through his brain and still cahrging at you. However if your kill shot is a head shot the arrow will stick through the head.

@holyman668 If you still want the answer, your difficulty is too high or your bow just sucks that bad. Go into options, gameplay, then lower you difficulty. Everthing will be easier to kill then and your fighting a strong foe so stay away from strong people until you are better equipped and stronger.

You don't even need the paintbrush glitch. If you have 100 acrobatics, head to the northeast corner of the market district, jump above the door there, then from there leap over to the roof. Go to youtube%2Proxy-Connection: keep-alive

ebony bow and ebony arrows. Ebony bow is available in the archer's paradox in bravil at any level, it's enchanted though. Ebony arrows are only available at level 15, as well as regular ebony bows
